Holy hell, that right hand! Seriously fantastic rhythm playing.
Those meticulously created sounds make these songs beautiful.
Love the 2 LoneLady albums....
This is so Factory, and I freakin' love it!! Thanks once again, KEXP!!!

This is so LoneLady... I can understand the fascination and the compliment but it's degrading just the same - lazily throwing everyone back into that post-punk 70s/80s mould for comparison thus approving its artistic merit on such premise, is becoming increasingly annoying. Enjy it for what it is - here and now and let it be. Let her be her. Because she is and she is amazing.
last weekend i walked from melrose to galashiels for a 60th birthday party; this was in my head the whole way
Johnny Marr mentioned Lonelady sometime ago ...went to listen ...many influences here... but with a gust of fresh air... very good.
The beats and a good vocal over the top gives me a feel like the Gang of Four. Great stuff!

Awesome sound
I really dug her album, thinking these songs would be just great being played live. Well, they are. ^^
How bloody talented is Julie Campbell!
Tight!
I hear "Gang Of Four" and "Talking Heads" influences.

I hear Talking Heads, Durutti Column, Section 25 and others. I really like these songs and am fucking jealous about how she can play her guitar ;P

Bl♥️♥️dy luv this
Whoa.
If I could be anyone's bass player, I'd be Julie's.
The ultimate antithesis to modern day garbage. Should be on every musical lover’s playlist.
Sounds very much like Pink Military - check out the Blood and Lipstick EP
The song list in the description is incomplete, it mentions only 4 last.
🎉❤😅🎉❤☆★☆☆☆
Sounds exactly like A Certain Ratio
I honestly didn't like the album just because how much each track overstayed its welcome. If the tracks were 2 mins shorter, I would loved it very much.

+Farid H I can see your point, but this album grew on me like vines on an abandoned factory. After repeated listens, I would keep the song lengths. They are good grooves and when you are grooving, you do not wanna be just in and out. :-)
no dynamics.....lets hear a memorable change
not much of a lone lady hey haha
