I converted a Glock 22 in 40S&W with a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion threaded barrel. It’s now an extremely soft shooting and accurate pistol. I was hesitant to buy it since it was just over 100 dollars, but I have been thoroughly impressed. Best part is that I had considered trading the 40 S&W pistol and they were going to give me squat for it. For me it was a great upgrade!

@@kevinrichardson8859 Glock doesn’t make an OEM 9 mm conversion barrel, do they? They should for their 40 S&W pistols but they don’t! They would prefer that you buy another pistol. IMHO, Lone Wolf makes a quality barrel at an affordable price; it’s reliable and accurate. I had no issues with their barrel.

@Quality_Guru Glock makes oem barrels in all calibers...I just bought one from Glock chambered in 357sig for my Glock 22 and Glock 23

I have an alpha wolf conversion barrel for a 23 and it’s never had issues! It’s not a carry gun since I don’t have enough ammo or a range to truly test it but with the amount I have through it very similar results to you! Seem like a great product for a great price!

I’ve got one of these for all my .40 Glocks and I friggin’ love them. Most of my converted Glocks are MUCH more accurate than their 9mm OEM counterparts. They don’t like Blazer Aluminum though. 😬

Have an older Lone Wolf 9mm conversion Barrel on my Glock 35 . Works Perfectly with any ammo . I have heard stories , but I have had no issues whatsoever .

I had a Glock 23 with Lone Wolf long barrel with ports. No issues except noise.

Great tests and comparison. Appreciate the info. I have used a # of conversion barrels over the years in my Glock & S&W 40s. 357 Sig and 9mm. Some of these have been Lone Wolf and I have no complaints. Happy Father's Day to all our dads.

I agree with the finish being different on Blue line Glocks than standard commercial Glocks. Gives it character though! I’ve been running Lone Wolf Alpha Wolf 9mm conversions in my G23 & G27. Love their conversion offering, never had a problem with them.

One things for certain, your very accurate with any of them. Great, test sir.

I've seen a few examples of all brands of aftermarket glock barrels fail at being reliable. Some the lugs are cut wrong and damaged the locking block or kept the barrel from tilting properly for reliable feeding. Ive seen sobe chambers reamed too shallow and too deep. In my opinion, i have never seen a Glock retain the same great reliability with an aftermarket barrel. And because of that, the only reason I'd use one is to shoot lead, and only for target practice. I really wanted to get a kkm 6" with compensator, but settled for the glock 6" hunting barrel for my g20. Ill take what i know works 100% vs taking a risk of losing the legendary reliability of the glock platform with aftermarket stuff. I can outshoot Gucci glock owners all day with my stock guns. I just don't get experimenting with a gun that runs perfectly out the box. The only thing I change is my sights

Been using those barrels I have a(2) G17 and they really n flawless however my 10 mm alpha wolf barrel didn’t do so good I have a old Gen 3 Glock 20 and I use the alpha whole long slide but use my OEM Glock barrel. A lot of feeding issues I had to use a Dremel Great video and demonstration.

Very nice shooting. Was the distance to target for the accuracy testing also 7 yards? I missed if you mentioned it. Entertaining content 👍

I'm on the fence before buying. The initial launch of Lone Wolf s first pistol debut... they're gun exploded years ago injuring the operator.

From what I saw that was an ammo problem

I’ve had one or two magazines that do not like the Fort Scott because the overall length of the round, it would rub on the front of the magazine on the inside and not feed correctly

Your chrono was giving you what I would consider valid reads for half a second before it showed an error with the original Lone Wolf barrel. The velocities were all close, but different from the previous shot. I think your chrono needs calibration or replacement

I had 2 9mm conversion barrels for my g27 & 35, neither would chamber a single round from any make or type. Needed to be reemed out as the chamber was wildly too tight ... With QC that poor i never bothered to reem em out as im not gonna trust 💩 like that lol.

Is that Winchester White Box 124 grain NATO or just plain ole WWB 115 grain FMJ? Getting over 1225 FPS with any handgun regardless of barrel length is impressive.

Extreme angles in winter, extreme angels in Summer 🤔 I think you’ve a problem with extreme angles.

If the barrels are similar to their old ones, those barrels should eat EVERYTHING.

Do not buy an alpha wolf barrel!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a 6.5 inch 10mm alpha wolf Glock 20 barrel last year and I’ve had 100% bad luck with it. My KKM barrel on the other hand has been great.

What more do I want? Oh it appears that you are a fairly good shooter. But in order to obtain a true accuracy across the board is to use a bench rest that gives each manufacturers rounds. The same treatment. Shooting freehand is not reliable. There is no way that you can get any consistency Shooting freehand in a total comparison of all barrels and cartridges. From my perspective, your groups are nul and void.

What good is an impractical test if a handgun is never used from a bench rest?

I noticed it likes the heavy for caliber ammo, something i don't usually see. I don't know if it's the longer barrel or the twist rate but 147s don't stabilize well in my guns. Alpha wolf looks to be worth the money, need to compare it to a bar-sto or kkm to see if those manufacturers are better.

I haven't seen Cheap Steelcase I'm a while its actually more than Brass everywhere I see it. Apocalypse 😅😅 #dressed2kill 🥂🪖🛡🛡🗡🗡👑💣💣💣💣🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀
