We take a look at the NCAA DII, Lone Star Conference! Some great smaller stadiums, in some cool places. #ncaafootball #d2 #footballstadiums #lonestar

Midwestern State hosted the 1-AA National Title games in late 70s early 80s. If it was Friday Night Lights would have been the tv show.

Western Oregon looks like it may have been used in Animal House.

Did UTPB originally play at the stadium in Odessa?

They did, and that was the FNL stadium.

I do wish you'd quit calling seats "chairbacks". That term actually refers to benches with a metal backing to lean against. Also, you keep referring to big "press boxes". Those host premium club areas & suites - not just the press and team coaches boxes. Further, why would the visitor seating have to be as large as the home side? I've been to numerous fully enclosed stadiums where the visitor block is in one corner. Unlike European soccer stadiums, visiting supporters can sit anywhere.
