London is easier for French ppl to live than Paris for British! Same to everywhere, London is easier to live for foreigners and is the most diverse and dynamic cosmopolitan capital city in the world! I’d take London over Paris any day. I fell in love with the city. There were so many more points of interest to me and my family that we ran out of time to see and do everything we wanted to. Paris, on the other hand, while being a very beautiful and romantic city, did not offer that much to us. I feel nostalgic when I think about London but Paris feels kind of diferent.

Have to say I much prefer London. Maybe biased as I'm a native English speaker which makes things easier, but I found it had everything Paris offered and whole lot more.

If you want a cheap place (but still very good quality) to stay in London try the premier inn in Kenton that’s where I usually stay your literally right beside the bakerloo line that will take you straight to Oxford Circus where you can explore and get tourist busses ect

Paris has incredible historic architecture but there's just a certain vibe in London that's hard to describe! Paris on the other hand whilst being beautiful can seem like a cold place.

I Have been to both, they are pretty much alike, even if there are some differences. And for France I prefer Lille and Nantes and in England I prefer Brighton. But if I had to choose between both I think I'll take London just for the Palace ❤️

My family lives in Paris and I lived 25 years in London, I love both cities and still have to visit at least twice a year. Since the 2000´s London is leading: Best club scene, more diversity and dynamism but Living in Central London is brutal, so expensive most people have to share flats even into their 40´s, the weather doesn´t help either! I much prefer Barcelona where I live now!

It depends on how much money you get.

Easy choice for me. London. Mainly because the music culture and nightlife is so much better and also the sport (not just football). I found that when I went to Paris I got bored rather quickly whereas it's pretty much impossible to get bored in London, there is so much to do there.

Paris has more beautiful architecture due to London being bombed in WW2 and the later demolition many historic buildings in the 60s/70s but overall London wins, London is the world’s no1 Global city, Financial centre and cultural capital and is far more exciting and interesting then both Paris and NYC, London has a unique Energy and atmosphere which you can’t find anywhere else

Which is good. Brussel-Midi has everything in 4 languages, so the announcements are going non-stop and you get really nuts and miss the important ones.

Paris is undoubtedly more scenic but I have never lived there. I lived in London for about 15 years but I can't imagine going back. The great thing about moving to London was opportunities. Vive la difference as they say.

Both cities were, are and will be complementary places in the european urban way of life.

Why London is better: it’s diverse, better transportation (public and private), better restaurants, mixture of things to do whether if you want to visit museums to theme parks. Paris is nice but that’s all I could say

You must be kidding, the Londonian metropolitan is way worse than the Parisian one, which is the result of a bad privatization policy. Restaurants in Paris are of course better than in London too. You’re right according the range of activities, but both are quite similar (boat on the river, museums, concerts, theaters...) though I think you can more easily find the nature leaving Paris than leaving London area

I have been to the south of France lots of times and I have been to Paris twice, but I must admit that I didn’t like Paris. When I went there it was dirty, and the people are quite rude. I always enjoy visiting the south of France, it is very different just like London is to the rest of England. So my advice for anyone that has visited just Paris, and dislikes the country due to that experience to give the south a chance.

Come visit again with me. Paris is NOT rude and NOT dirty. But they don't like it when visitors are rude. Did you behave friendly, and use a basic French vocabulary to get the conversation started?

I've been to both cities and while London seemed to have more things that appealed to me at certain times, London wasn't very interesting. I never actually felt like I was in a foreign country for some reason. Everything was familiar except bigger, bombastic and more hectic. Lots of shops, clubs and that sort of things but I wasn't taking pictures of buildings, fascinated by people or culture, merely there to shop eat and look at two museums. Paris is so interesting, while hectic and all of that, felt so different, interesting, French and exciting.

All people in Paris talk English. At least when you do start the conversation in French! Knowing 10 sentences is enough to get everybody to help you in English, and they are very friendly too. There's a younger more open generation in charge now. Take the metro: every station has a staffed service desk from 07.00 to 24.00 and the staff speaks both French and English. The average London Underground staff member is a "botte hark" as we would call it.

London has NFL and NBA matches for a reason.

I went to London one time. But I think the city has been largely destroyed in WWII and we don't have this impression of historic uniformity. Moreover, there are many other museum in the metropolitan area of Paris (Versailles,...) which are not in include in the city.

I'm French and I lived in Paris (And Brussels, Munich...). I was very disappointed with London, it's one of the big cities in Europe that I liked the least. Paris is always in my heart ❤️ Also, we cannot compare all this numbers, size, population... because "Paris" is just the center of the Parisian area. There is also what we call "Le Grand Paris".

Im wondering if you can fairly compare the number of museums, as London is 15 times bigger than Paris. I'm assuming as well that people are more prone to speak with a stranger in their mother tongue than in English when they don't speak well the language. Many other aspects were not taken into account like weather, food, etc but it was fun to watch the video! Cheers!

We the French are not conservative at all with our language. We, not me though, can't stop using English words although we have french equivalent words: break instead of pause, date instead og rendez-vous, challenge instead of défi, mail instead of courriel and so on.
