It sure made the Victoria line the loudest underground line.

The Victoria line is on of my favorite train lines and the 2009 stock sounds absolutely marvelous.

I love the look and the sound of the S stock and the 2009 stock. They sound very similar (same traction motor) and also look very similar. The similarities between the two remind me of the similarities between the 1967 stock and C69 stock.

yes, S and 09 have same motors, but they both have a minor differents. the asynchronous part in S has swoop and 09 just straight frequency and without swoop

Very fast approaching trains

People go on and on about the older trains. But I love the acceleration and speed of door operation on this stock. They don’t hang about !

The Victoria line is fast and frequent, good acceleration, trains arrive into the platform at speed too.And virtually no delay for the doors to open.

Not a bad metro, it just needs some new trains, and a bit of modernisation to higher standards like London. It is happening, they are making new trains which will enter service soon, they need to have those glass barrier gateway things on some of the stations and renew some of worse stations and make them modern. The stations are very beautiful.

Victoria line is the fastest tube in 2023
