northern and victoria line are my home line 🎉😢🎉

Before the refurbishment in 2015, the Northern line announcer used to say "And urban mainline services" before saying "National Rail Services"

Celia Drummond also announces the French announcements on the International rail trains at London St Pancras International.

Why does she change her voicetone when saying “and NATIONAL RAIL SERVICES” 😂😂😂😂 It’s a particularity about the Northern Line!

I don't know why but I keep laughing at the way the announcer says "And National Rail Services"

Moorgate station had changed alot. Moorgate used to be a huge subsurface terminus for national rail trains coming two and from southern England via Faringdon to Moorgate (the widened platforms of the lines are next to the Circle Hammersmith and City and metropolitan lines) but in 2009/10 the platforms at Faringdon grew and then the moorgate widened lines were abandoned and closed. Which means that the only remaining national rail line to run is the Northern city line running from Stevenage to Moorgate.

Oops I meant it was a terminus for Thameslink trains that run between the city and to the East Midlands such as Luton, Bedford, or St Alban's. Not from the South

The old ones actually sound better

This station is Stockwell. Change here for Victoria lines. This is a Northern line train terminating at Morden.

Sad, Celia Drummond died… her announcments are great. Its very sad.

If you haven't noticed from the volume change, the Northern line has a sensor system (can't remember it's official name) which depending on the loudness of the tunnels (for the "next station"). I might do a video based on the old announcements, although this is a good video.
