In this week's instalment of London's Fashion Alphabet, we're delving into mourning wear and the tradition of wearing black during more melancholy moments. As you'll discover, this was something which Victorians reallllly picked up and ran with.

One thing I am surprised of is how short Queen Victoria is. I'm almost 6 feet tall so I would be considered to be quite a tall lady.
