London’s Chinese New Year GRAND PARADE 2023 in Chinatown for Year of the Rabbit - 4K HDR 60FPS
Watching London’s Chinese New Year Grand Parade 2023, also known as Lunar New Year celebrating the Festival of Spring, on Shaftesbury Avenue at London Chinatown.
The Grand Parade features the largest gathering of Chinese Lions and Dragons in Europe, as well as seven traditional hand-crafted floats given to London Chinatown by the People’s Republic of China. 2023’s Chinese New Year Celebration in London is for Year of the Rabbit, organised by London Chinatown Chinese Association.

Happy Chinese New Year! It's called Chinese New Year and not Lunar New Year. Chinese people do not celebrate Lunar New Year as Muslims do. We have our own Chinese Calendar and it's not the same as lunar calendar. FYI.

The Lunar calendar comes from China and Chinese New Year to the most important traditional Chinese cultural event of the year. I think Chinese New Year is the biggest holiday in London. Literally more busy than Christmas, New Years and Halloween. The demand for Chinatown / Asian food, snacks and groceries is too huge now. It has really outgrown that little area over the last 5 years.

Welcome to the Year of the Rabbit. I knew it, I just knew you would be posting a video of Chinese New Year WW. It's pretty big in Vancouver too, as there is a huge Asian population there. Anyhow, mum and I will watch this very soon. We still have quite a few of your previous videos to catch up on, including several of your Christmas ones.
