Cheers! I hope you’ve both been well. I felt since so much has changed in London that there is a need to retell the story. Lots of exciting videos on the way! Do you have any upcoming travel plans?

Congratulations, you are the best, some day I will there, I promise, London the most beautiful city all over the world.

We noticed the underground was significantly quieter. We also noticed it was about 50-50 on face ask wearing on the underground. We still had a great time in London and it was a great visit to break ourselves back into travelling.

@@Sunny_in_London we just visited Covent Garden and the west end (no shows), so pubs in Fleet Street and then Greenwich tunnel and the observatory. We have done the curry sark before, great museum x

We were supposed to go to Greenwich on Monday but it looked a little too cloudy so perhaps this weekend. I’ve been posting a lot of updates about Covent Garden on my Instagram. It’s having an ice cream festival now. Did you see the Stella Artois pop up? 🍺

@@Sunny_in_London SO MUCH! 😆 Our son is a plane spotter and aviation photographer. Part of this trip is his HS senior gift - to travel from Seattle to LHR on British Airways and stay at the hotel at the airport so he can take photos. (And to the famous Myrtle Ave). The rest of the trip will be staying in London and the typical London sites (Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich, V&A, etc) and a day trip to Westminster and a long day to York to see a friend. Ten days. My husband and I only got two days during our last trip (before France), and it only wetted our appetite for MORE!! 😊 Hoping the Elizabeth Tower is not so caged up by the time we go. I'd love to hear Big Ben, again!!

Yes! I can’t wait to see the scaffolding come down too. It bothers me so much when people post old pictures without scaffolding because it’s so misleading. Your trip sounds really exciting. I hope it’s sunny for your son’s photos!

It might be a while before I get back to London again, the whole covid situation is still very unpredictable - although the air fares make it very tempting - Less than 600 bucks for round trip to London! What a deal!

I hear you! I was just in Florida for three weeks. Hadn’t seen my mom since December 2019 due to British Airways canceling 5 of my previous trips. I finally just booked with Delta and held my breath. Glad I went but all those test protocols ruined 2 full days of my visit. Empty plane on the way back though. However- so much is operating at half capacity here and could close at any point that it’s definitely worth waiting. Hope you’ve been well through all this though!

I’m truly and honestly humbled. I hope you’ve been well through the pandemic! Mr Sunny and I have been well and grateful for that. I’ve put a lot of time and energy into a relaunch and rebrand. Lots of exciting things planned so I hope it lives up to your expectations. London has changed so much I feel that a channel that keeps people informed (and maybe 🤔 slightly entertained) is valuable now. Any ideas you have for what you’d like to see or want to know about are VERY appreciated. It’s a hobby so I like to make sure it’s productive and relevant.

Great to see you YouTubing again. You’ve been missed.

Right????? I hope you’ve not been too deeply affected by Covid. It just seemed like the best time to relaunch because London is finally starting to regenerate after the onset of the pandemic. So much is different that I feel people want to and need to know what’s happening now. Any changes or questions you have? I have a lot of great stories and behind the scenes videos planned but want to make sure it’s showing the information people need- so would love ideas!!

I’ve had to cancel my trip to London two years in a row now. I’m hoping to come next June if all this is behind us and it’s safe to travel from America. There’s been so many rules in airports in so many quarantine rules, I don’t want to deal with all that when I travel across the pond. I look forward to coming back to London and I appreciate your video!

Cheers! That’s one of the times I suggest to book an international London trip in the video. If you’re just coming from within the UK it’s different. Having just gone through all the testing for my first trip to Florida since December 2019- I hear you! It’s expensive, stressful and takes up a lot of time. Have you been able to travel much within the US?
