London in Snow 2021, Winter Wonderland - Heavy snowfall in London, UK

London covered in snow in 2021. London, England and the UK have been hit by heavy snowfall. London changes under this white blanket of snow, a true Winter Wonderland in the capital of England.
We will have this snow walk around London, where we explore the East of London and Central London. So join me on this magical winter wonder walk around London and enjoy the heavy snowfall.
From famous London tourist attractions under snow, to the Olympic Park that turns white. London will never look the same again when it is hit by heavy snowfall.

If you are at all in a position to support my endeavours finding the best that London has to offer I've linked my one off donation link. You could be contributing towards a cup of hot chocolate to warm up during filming, or entrance into a historical site. Either way, I truly truly thank you!

More ice and snow weather warnings have been in place for this last week in January. So who knows, maybe we will have more opportunities to walk around London, England and the UK to see it covered in snow. At least it gives you a little bit of the Arctic and Iceland feeling.

Every city has its own atmosphere when covered in snow. But there is one thing that unites all of them - citizens start to feel like they are in a fairytale, a true Winter Wonderland as you said in your video. I truly enjoyed this time ✨😍

A very poetic and zen video. I love snow. Here too, it came, fell and disappeared. Oh for a good old fashioned 6 inch layer of white. Sigh! 🙏

Unfortunately not. We have snow now for the last 2 days which is rare (and starts to disappear again) But UK / England gets snow more often, however the capital was already 3 years ago and at least didn't get snow the 2 years before that.

Yep snow is so little that besides it was 3 years ago, this snow didn't stay longer than like 5 hours. So probably we need to wait awhile again before we get some more proper snow.

@@Svenywhere We did have snow then but this felt comparable. The amount of days I woke up recently like "oh, more snow!" was too much to count, haha. Perhaps my memory is just poor of that time!

@@EllaMcKendrick The difference for here is that at that time it lasted for days in London with snow. Now it lasted for 3 hours, but probably it is different in Manchester. I miss the snow.

I didn't realize snow was so rare in London. The landmarks look so pretty with the snow around. This year I'm embracing our Canadian winter and get so excited when we get a good layer of snow. He had about 15 cm the other day so it's stuck around pretty wall!

People in the UK only wear masks inside public places and shops. Outside I think only 5% of the population wears a mask.

I love seeing the snow falling. It's great to live in London. I've just met a friend from London here in Vietnam, I'd ask him more about the snow, it looks fun. It's freezing when you walked out to take pictures. The root of that tree is huge but it collapsed due to the strong snow?

  • @Svenywhere

No not because of the snow. More likely because of heavy rainfall that eroded the bankside.

Good grief. Ten feet a season is average in the Finger Lakes. You guys make much of little. But God causes the sun and rain (and snow) on the wicked and righteous alike. I'm glad you admire it so.
