Welcome to the first installment of a 3-hour video review of the operations of Go-Ahead London Central. Filmed between April and August 2022, the video studies the company’s daytime routes operating out of its south-east London garages. Please forgive the inconsistency of coverage - some routes, like the 51, are only sparsely covered while others (like the 37) are quite saturated! It was just impossible to get around to as many places as I would have liked.
This video covers the following routes: 1, 12, 21, 35, 36, 37, 40, 42, 51, 89, 100 and 108 (south of the Thames).
The highlights of this video are probably (1) the ex-demonstrator WHV111 on route 1, (2) VHP1 and VHP2, the two Volvo B5LHs with Wright SRM bodywork seen on route 37, (3) the wealth of second hand vehicles operating route 89, and (4) the ex-Red Arrow Citaros on the 108.
