That vid pulled at the heartstrings a bit, when you were driving down the M3 to Southampton. I was working there in 1990 and met a smashing lass. When I got back to the North East, I used to drive down on the weekend to see her. It all got a bit too much and it fizzled out. Happy memories though and another great vid.👑👑

Kev don't forget not to reverse a turbo engined car into top deck the airflow into the exhaust can turn the turbo blades when turbo has no oil feed it could possibly size it up

That Meriva Turbo took me back to my tradeplating days. I delivered a few ex-rental ones. You wouldn't think it to look at them, but they were an absolute hoot to drive.

Always crazy to see the low mileages in the UK. AutoTrader here in South Africa did a survey recently to see which cars do the most mileage in a year. The Ford Transit Custom came out tops with the average 2019 model already having covered over 100,000KM.

Great vlog Kev. I've been following you for ages and always like seeing the different cars you're collecting. I noticed your phone holder in the truck and wondered what kind it is and what it's connected to as mine in my van has recently broken and definitely don't want anything on the window or necessarily in the air vent really. Hey Adam, thanks for following and glad you enjoy the content. The phone holder is just a cheap cd slot holder although I rarely use a cd slot, I usually find some crevice in the dash to wedge it in that's a bit more convenient 👍

I was checking out your merchandise in Amazon, and I don't see any mug in it. Maybe u should consider adding mugs and car decals to your collection. Have a caricature painting of your face and put it on the mugs or the decals

Love to add the volvo to my car collection i bet the roof works lovely on it.

I switched route and drive a ugly volvo now, hope to get back the dream Scania P250

Great vid i like the showing more of the inside of cars .if poss to tell us why the cars are end of life ie mot fall or engine on good And i am will you what is the point in getting wound up will other drivers you only upset your self we make mistakes at times.

Good ol' Renaults. Spends all driving around with plenty of hours on motorways/dual carriageways yet chooses to do a regen when you get into the yard. Can't say i'm surprised! Haha.

Sad to see the volvo c70 ragtop being loaded. I had a 2002 one, and for the money, it was a fabulous car - 2.4 turbo engine, heated leather seats, dolby surround sound system etc. Sadly, a rat moved into my engine bay and ate the wiring while i was working away, but i had so much fun in that car...thanks for the memory jogger!

It didn't auto regen so had to do it manually when I got back to the yard.

Has anyone got any tips for an up and coming truck driver...I am soon to take my test but I feel like moving from a sprinter van into a 26 tonne rigid is going to be hard! Any tips or guidance is much appreciated

I went from a transit to a 44 tonne artic, after your training it's no sweat, first couple of hours was a bit nerve-racking but after that it's no different from jumping in your car everyday. Just take it slow and steady and listen to everything your instructor tells you 👍
