London Bike Shed Show - is the Custom Motorcycle event worth the ticket?

Welcome to the Bike Shed Show at Tobacco docks London. Join me for a walk around of the show to see if this might be an event worth adding to your calendar for 2024. The show is rammed full of custom bikes from both professional builds to home shed builds. The range of customs is incredible, a great place for inspiration for your own bike… but be warned you might end up wanting to spend a lot of money. I was honoured to join Gareth on the Shed Talks stage to talk about Dakar and Beyond along side Chris Evens, the UK Dakar customer liaison guy. It was an interesting talk for sure so stay tuned for the full interview. With the main show sponsor being Michelin I also show you their take on Past, Present Future with the augmented reality custom bike. Very cool.
The Bike Shed show is a weekend long event with a VIP Friday night. Literally hundreds of bikes to look at, including my KTM 450 rally replica Big Buddy, lots of food, life music, Shed Talks and a great venue at Tobacco Docks.

I concur, I’d rather pull my liver out with a rusty nail than go to that hell hole, it’s bad enough going to the NEC at Brum.

Great video, Vanessa and it was nice to see you there! I love The Bike Shed Show, the venue, the atmosphere, the bikes all go together to make it one of if not the best bike show in the UK, in my opinion. I agree with one of your opening comments, you certainly won’t like every bike there but that’s what makes customisation fun and very subjective! I look forward to catching up again soon! 🙌

Every time I watch a video of the Shed Show I spot a room I seem to have missed, and yours was no different. A little bit of history, the Bike Shed shows came before the Bike Shed restaurant, it was people saying "we want to feel like we're going to the Show all year round" that inspired Dutch and Vikki to establish the venue.
What a place Great Tour I would love it 👊🏾👊🏾😊

That's what I thought!! You rarely see them in a custom zone but they are custom. Good to be represented!!
Vanessa enjoyed your tour around the shed, and I think you do yourself a dis-service your presenting skills are very good. It's one of those for me the thought of riding into London puts me off coming, but it is very tempting. Thank you.

Looks interesting. More of a custom latte event which would be fun. But not a bike show where you might seriously buy a bike. Birmingham for us was a proper bike show back in 2017 and from that we ordered our factory customised Indian Springfield in the USA. Birmingham had all the brands and versions and for us was perfect as a hands and bum on experience. My wife decided absolutely Harley no way. Too uncomfortable! Nice film clip of London. Love that Indian and of course you might get the opportunity to meet some legends which is always fun.

I saw you at the show and was moving in for a picture 😁 But then i pulled out at the last moment with fear of imposing or being awkward 😬 It was nice to see you in real life however 👍

It certainly looks more interesting than the one and only bike show I went to in Ally Pally over 20 years ago. I suppose that's my answer to the above question. I love bikes, but I don't go to bike shows.

It's a weekend pass which this year was £26 or £40 for the VIP event on Friday night.

Looks really cool but unfortunately (in my opinion of course) they made at the worst dates. Doing at the same time as the TT?? huge amount of riders and big brands are here in Isle of Man. Plus it is impossible to find a ticket for the ferry or plane to get out of the island.
