I understand that you want to protect your work from unauthorized copying, but place your watermark in a corner or at the top of the video and not in the middle of the image as you did, because by placing it in the middle of the image you are ruining the his work and his followers also lost interest in watching videos with a watermark running in the middle of the scenes.

It's difficult to watch your video with a watermark in the middle, taking away our attention. You have the option on KZread to have your logo on all your videos always in the corner. This would be the best way to protect your videos and not harm your content with a watermark in the middle of the video.

I don't feel the watermark spoils the video for me and I understand why you have to do it. If, as has been suggested, you place it, for example, at the top, it would be possible for that to be clipped out, defeating the reason for it in the first place.

I don’t think they simply stopped carrying out those sort of duties. I think it’s just that the need to do so gradually grew less with more sophisticated traffic management systems. I certainly saw Police directing traffic in the late 1960s in London and occasionally in Southampton in the early 1970s.

As another KZread commenter has mentioned there is an advert for Claire Dux at 0:22. She was a famous operatic soprano of her day. Apparently, she made her London debut in His Majesty’s Theatre in 1911 and her Covent Garden debut was in 1913. Her wiki biography states that she mostly gave concert recitals from 1918-1921, which would fit the type of advertising board seen in this footage, so I’m guessing that this might be as early as 1921, which would fit with your assessment.

London Chinatown was founded around this time.Their descendants still carry on many long lost English traditions nowadays.

Everyone is serious, composed, mindful....It was a time when people knew still who they were, what they were doing, what was most important in life, and lived accordingly to that!! Some of them though, hated this with a passion and planned and programmed all this slaughterhouse that the world is today......Let's hope God has Mercy on us and saves us in the end!!! ✝️

Great video! Quick question to anyone in the know: Did the Metropolitan Police in those days only recruit officers who were at least 5' 10'' in height? Every pre-1950 video I have seen of London shows traffic officers towering well above the majority of pedestrians who walk by them. I realize the average height of a Briton at the turn of the last century was a good inch or two below the median today, but the height of most MET officers shown in this and other older films appears higher than even today's height average for white, male Londoners.

My country the same before the wars came Women were raped, children lost their parents, many people died. When The war was over, a new government was established, There were many groups of people who could not stand the new government and were forced to abandon their homeland to go to foreign countries. And we have to face racism from the very people whose country was also involved in causing war in my country (untill now, it seems never end). Something like “go back to you country”, “if you were born here, you’d …”, “do you understand English?”, “Sorry to say it but all the immigrants coming in has changed it for the worse”
