I love *all* of their transformations so much, but Carissa and Lyna’s theme while shorter (and I wish they were longer) they definitely stand out to me. Maybe it’s the woman harmonizing in the back that makes it memorable lol

@@calypso7908​​ glad I’m not the only one who noticed how similar Lyna and Carissa’s transformations were to the outer senshi sequence from sailor moon! Not only is the lipstick part very reminiscent of the transformations but the beginning part also reminds me a lot of when Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto surround themselves in their respective elements during the beginning of their transformation sequences as well. Both Lyna and Carissa do the same where Lyna goes inside a flower and Carissa is surrounded by a light/crystal thing. I think it’s pretty cool how they mimicked the outer senshi’s transformations for Lyna and Carissa!

We all have to agree.. Talia and Lina’s transformation was the best

They were inspired by those of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune from the anime Sailor Moon, which are also a lot shorter than the main cast's

But now, since the older ones have already basically done everything, the newer shows can be derived and unoriginal. I advise you, random internet stranger, to stop tryna engage in fights because it makes you seem kinda stupid. I think it's the percussion that does it for me. I'm a sucker for drums and not many magical girl transformations have it so prominently. I love it.

The Japanese made Sailor moon. The Italians made Winx Club and the French made LoliRock. Different dacades also. Those born in the 80s and early 90s remember Sailor moon. Those born in the 90s and early 2000s remember Winx Club and those born early 2000s to mid 2000s remember this. I was born in '96 so I don't know this show because the original one was French and I was 17/18 when it first came out in 2014. By then, I was too busy preparing for university and getting myself hooked on anime. I know of Sailor moon (never watched it) but I definitely watched Winx club religiously because it came out in 2004 when I was 7/8 so I grew up with it. Also, I don't know if any of you remember W.I.T.C.H.

Even tho their transformations were shorter Carissa and Lyna literally slayed. Their animation is unique I like how they break out of these cool encasings and their music sounds epic.

Talia is the baddest hands one. Iris the cutest, Auriana is the prettiest

omg I actually remember watching lolirock ages ago the other day I was trying to remember a show that had magical girls in it and I was like "hmm...what was that show with the 5 magical girls? there was a pink one..a blue one...a yellow looking one..a green one and a purple one? I wonder what that show was called again" LIKE I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS SHOW 😭 I MISS IT SO MUCH 😭❤️

Anyone else notice the fact that Iris is the only one out of EVERY magic princess we saw in Lolirock, to have 3 points on her skirt? Everyone else has 2. I think this is a nod to the fact that her family, are the rulers of the planet of Ephedia (if that's even how it's spelt) compared to the others and their kingdoms within the realm of Ephedia.

no, it’s the shape of a heart. if you look at everyone’s capes, it’s represented as a part of their personality. (diamond, moon, heart, sparkle, and a flower (?). it’s not the full shape but it’s like the top part.

It's sas that Lyna and Carissa had shorter transformations but they match their pwrsonalities and are extremely pleasing to look at so that's a win in my books

Let's be honest, Loli Rock was pretty much a Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure hybrid (with a little bit of Mermaid Melody mixed in too)

I think making carrisa and lyna’s theme shorter was actually quite a smart move as talias sister taught them to use magic with the least amount of energy, therefore it makes sense why there transformations don’t seem as big

If the creators are really serious with bringing this show back, I really hope it comes with new transformations. That’s not to say this aren’t great at all. I think they’re phenomenal, but animation has advanced so well that I can’t wait to see what else creatively they can do with these transformations.

I'm so rewatching LoliRock again! :D

I love how the main three of iris talia and auriana their colors follow like the personality types of japanese pretty cure even tho its made in France like pink is usually the main on blue is serious and steadfast and then yellow or orange in this case is the happy go lucky one

At the end of the video what kind of ruined it for me is the endscreen covering up most of the screen. Maybe if you added a black screen as an Outro or something, and then used the endscreen there.

Obviously the producers didnt like a lot Irid than the rest , for example when Iris invokes her dress she only has hearts in the background which its not so ethereal compared to the origins they say she comes from while Talia has a bright aura , a more etheral element than hearts

This remind me of Star Guardian a lot, like Iris - Ahri/Lux Auriana - Seraphine/Miss Fortune Talia - Ezreal/Senna Lyna - Sona/Soraka Carissa - Syndra/Janna Especially, Mephisto and Praxina - Xayah and Rakan
