Their intelligence and ingenuity blows me away. Also I love how they do conflict resolution and don’t hold grudges. Fun fact, many American zoos won’t house them because their behavior shocks families. Lol puritans

Seems like only any form of aggression is less shocking to families in this culture or for humans in general. Not sure about Trobrianders, Piraha, !Kung San, Batek, Mosuo and all the extinct undocumented hunter-gatherer societies with different effects on epigenetic expression.

When I see these intelligent Bonobos, I wonder why human beings, but especially the Congolese, manage to do them so much harm, often even killing them, or capturing them to expose them in zoos.

I believe this is just the nursery and 1 day in the future they'll be reintroduced to the wild. May i know how the babies are further trained towards adopting to the wild. At the moment it is very evident that they are learning human ways like drinking fm a bottle instead of directly fm the pool/pond. Thanks

Forget about that, bonobos aren't pets, you'd need several acres of land and a whole bonobo family just to stop them from being absolutely miserable
