& actually this role is also something I'm sure Majors relished. It's not often you get to play such a wide range of personalities by playing just one character. This is an actor's dream. Playing Kang requires him to play even more varied number of personalities compared to Hiddleston's Loki.

Victor Timely is NOT a Kang! (At least not yet) This is why we didn’t see him in the Council at the end of Quantumania. Unless, rather Victor Timely has a major (pun intended) transformation in the next 3 Episodes, we will know that there are variants of Kang, then there are variants of Nathaniel Richards. At this moment, Victor Timely is just a variant of Nathaniel Richards, not Kang the Conqueror. They may all be related, but we have to separate the villain from their original self. Such as if we were to separate Hulk and Bruce Banner. There’s always a point in time where Bruce Banner isn’t Hulk, yet. And if in every universe of the vast multiverse, there is a version of every character, then we must accept that Victor Timely is indeed JUST NATHANIEL RICHARDS and NOT Kang yet! He won’t be Kang until he enters the TVA, fixes the Temporal Loom, creates his infamous Time Chair @ 7:35, and uses it to traverse across time and space. THIS WAS HE WHO REMAINS’ plan all along! Victor Timely will eventually become He Who Remains again, but only after becoming Kang, weaponizing Alioth, then isolating the Sacred Timeline from the others! And “Amennnnnnnn!!” *He Who Remains” voice. I’m standing on this theory!

I think that the device timely had made was a small version of the time chair that kang used in quantumania.

I thought that Renslayer may be the body miss minutes ended up in and that Renslayer is actually miss minutes. Just because there’s a lot of similarities with the two.

I found it kind of curious that they would have a scene showing HWR’s corpse still sitting in the chair. It feels like something is gonna happen and he somehow reverses his death and they show him waking up from that chair.

My theory is that Ouroboros is the circle. Meaning he's not good or bad but the entity that's responsible for making sure that time repeats itself. Thats probably why nobody knew about the crack in the floor, but loki could talk to obie in the past and he knew in the future. Because he is the circle, if that makes any sense 😂😂😂

Mobius and OB both have time paradox relatable names, an ouroboros is a repeating circle, a snake eating its tail, while a mobius strip is the same, it has the illusion of a band with 2 sides, but it is a twisted ouroboros circle, a band with only one side. Both are symbols for timeloops.

4:35 I think originally the first "Kang" who discovered the Multiverse and how to travel it following Reed Richards technology was from the 30th century (in the original timeline). But after the Multiverse War and He Who Remains winning then created the sacred timeline with the TVA. This variant of Kang just got a jumpstart on the others.

@@patrickkilduff5272 I agree, this makes no sense at all. And I don't think Timely was born in the 1800's. My theory is that HWR identified and isolated his own timeline, made it the sacred one and moved himself (as a kid) from the 31sr century into the 19th. By doing so, he prevents his future self to become Kang again (so only one can remain, pun intented) and he has a new starting point for after he dies. The TVA book is meant for him, the kid Kang, to ultimately become HWR again, which he can’t do by himself anymore because he doesn’t have the required technology in the 19th century. It's all about avoiding any other Kang to appear while keeping one dormant variant for HWR to rise again. Also, I think Timely is faking this goofy, stuttering and unsure personae and he's already playing everyone, like a puppet master. There is this one time in the 3rd episode where you can see his real personality, when he stares at his accomplice to let him know to back out the bid. There you can see him controlling the whole situation.

Maybe I’m UNDERTHINKING it, but I interpreted it that ALL Kang’s are from the 30th century and young Victor Timely was simply a contingency stashed on the sacred timeline

Kang exist everywhere, and everywhen so it would make sense to have a version of Kang in the past and the future and all of that. Kang or He Who Remains knew everything that was going to happen, so maybe having OB and things like that was purposeful placement to combat the other Kangs or something like that. Because the whole thing about Kang being a time traveler and being able to see the future and know all of the outcomes and things like that and manipulating time and people and everyone and everything else ro work in his favor, I find it hard to believe that Kang or He Who Remains would put people smarter or more powerful than him in the TVA unless it was for a reason. Maybe OB is meant to combat the other Kangs with his intelligence, maybe Miss Minutes was created by him for the soul purpose of turning on him and fighing all of the other Kang varients. So it is like He Who Remains set all of this up so that all of these people will fight the multiversal war and all of the other Kangs for him in order to resanction his dominance and power as the ruler of time and the TVA. I know that it is all out there, but I just have to imagine that Kang He Who Remains had a reason for putting these people here, like he orcastrated everything.

Kang isn't omnipresent and omniscient! He has access to the past, present and future...but he is still just a man...he doesn't 'know everything that will happen'...that would require the mind of the One Above All. He can still be tricked, he still has desires, he still has faults and he still can fail. His power comes from his grasp of time travel tech and future tech...he isn't a god.

My bet is He Who Remains created two sentient AIs, but while he didnt make a body for Miss Minutes, he did for the other AI... ...OB.

Notice when he who remains is explaining the multiverse with the purple Claymation figures, the he who remains is wearing glasses. He also seems to be the only one wearing glasses.

Thanks for the info! I wasn't sure, while watching episode 3, why there was a young Kang in the Past. But, my theory is that He Who Remains's "Plan" was the "Good Variant." If I remember correctly there is a Kid version of Kang that is a good guy. Maybe HWR put a younger version of himself (variant) in the past on the sacred timeline to be "free" from his fate. Since HWR dies in that timeline then it is ok to have a Kang there (on the timeline) somewhere without breaking reality. Or because HWR is from the distant future then a variant can exist on a point in the time line where he has never been (just a few years in the 1800s). Marvel might have just aged him up to have a him be a participant in the current "war."

I kind of feel like the reason the TVA hunted Sylvie her whole life was because He Who Renains knew that she would eventually kill him and so Renslayer was trying to prevent it. He knew everything that was going to happen, so he would have known nothing would stop her. But I think Renslayer was trying to find a way to prevent it.

One thing I haven't seen anyone speculate on, is why do we see Loki timeslip to in front of the jet ski shop? All the slips in episode 1 were inside the TVA. So we know he's going to slip again somewhere, but if Mobius and OB "fixed" him in episode 1 how is that possible? Either that means he's not fixed, or - my theory - Loki somehow gains the ability to timeslip himself. Wouldn't that be a twist?

My theory is that the reason why Loki started time slipping in the first place during episode 1 was something that hasn't happened yet. Something that he will do in the future (like walking to the Loom without protection), and it affects him throughout his whole timeline.

So I'm wondering if that experience somehow changes him or teaches him how to harness timeslipping as a result. And then he's (obviously) able to will himself to go find Mobius before he was seized by the TVA in front of that waterski shop.

Not a twist. He could've gained control of the ability to timeslip to go back to prune himself in Ep 1. I am actually expecting that, cos they still need to explain how he went back to prune himself, which I'm assuming is what happened in Ep 1.

I think we get Kang the Conq back next episode, I think victor timely's loom was planned to be used after he who remains planned for this variant to fix the branching timelines. The loom Victor made probably have hidden plans to extract Kang from the timeline, the one from antman that got microsized. The same way they extracted loki from the time stream in ep1.

I think the secret miss minutes know is that renslayer and kang never meant to be together at least not forever cause renslayer always die when they do or kang always puts his conquest before her. Or if they change it up, renslayer might put her loyalty to the TVA cause before him.

I’ve always thought it would be really cool to exist in the MCU universe, now including the multiverse but now imagining IF Miss Minutes got a body and went on a rampage or something like that, I would not want to exist in ANY of those universes and suffer her wrath!!🤣🤣 she’s such a creepy, crazy ass AI! What I would love to see is Loki becoming "He Who Remains" in the end (maybe not the end of this season or the series as a whole, but the end of Secret Wars or Kang Dynasty).

He didn’t say he “came from” the 31st century, actually. He said he “lived in” the 31st century. I only realized this recently. If you’re a budding super-genius, and you suddenly have access to all of time, it makes sense that you’d jump far forward to have access to more advanced knowledge and technology.

my second favorite theory this season is renslayer being a female variant of kang - it makes a lot of sense to me, because if he who remains wrote time, then he wrote that loki would meet his female variant & fall in love-- just as kang possibly met his female variant ravonna at some point in his history and fell in love… If you think about it, Sylvie and ravonna have a lot in common. Both are strong women, confident, go for blood and untrusting of anyone and everyone 90% of the time. It’s possible that kang defeated all of his other variants, but chose to keep ravonna, because ultimately he had love for her… So he wiped her memory and put her in charge of the TVA…, Like a husband that divorces the wife, but still allows her access to the shared bank account with limitation… Idk that’s the best analogy. I could come up with it this time but hopefully what I’m saying makes sense

Ravonna hadn't been in charge of the TVA though. She was just one of several judges. And she wasn't even that the whole time. When she abducted Sylvie from home during her nexus event, Renslayer had been just a hunter, like B-15 is now. Also, if she had her memory erased, she would be a different person without her original memories. So we have no way of knowing what she was like before the memory erasure.

@@proximashining776 don’t be so literal- it’s a theory. . they mention him wiping memories in s2… so it’s not crazy to theorize he wiped her memory of certain events and events that happened prior to her time at tva when she was just a human living life . true she wasn’t technically in charge, but she clearly had more power and favor than the others - her determination to prove herself and have status directly points to why she would be a variant of kang …. also please note she was who he who remains entrusted to work with miss minutes to deliver the tva guidebook.

@@KhrysPKreme yes the last episode really showed everything its a loophole no matter what happens 'he who remains' will always reincarnate and shape the timeline into a sacred timeline. l feel like kang knew about the destruction of tva and he also knows how to fix it the only difference here is tht they r using loki and seylvi to fix the sacred timeline. and thats exactly what kang wants. during the fight with who he remains, he literally offered both seylvi and loki to run the tva and thats exactly what they are doing so far

It's funny you mentioned Ultron because Miss Minutes might actually be JOCASTA in a change from the comics where Ultron created Jocasta, Jocasta could pull an Ultron drone from one of the branch timelines and possess it's body as for the big reveal Renslayer is either Kang's daughter or a KANG VARIANT

He Who Remains never said he came from the 31st century, he said "a variant of me" in the 1st season finale.

Theory: What if throughout the season they spark the connection between Renslayer and Victor and she comes around to try and help victor and that’s when miss minutes goes full FUBAR and destroys the TVA with Renslayer in the process and thus setting victor down into his path as one of the most ruthless kangs , falling from grace at the sight of his love dying and unleashes.

Nah. She eventually falls for Kang who isn't victor timely. We will see more Kangs people she was talking to one in the earlier episodes that loki found on tape. That voice sounds like a darker Kang who she will be interested in more than victor. He will prolly die after building his time chair and visiting the future where a Kang will steal his tech and meet Ravonna they fall in love since she wants power. Kang has power. She was a royal princess in the future in comics so who knows what MCU marvel will do different.

My theory is that the TVA and all the timelines including the sacred timeline start to go spaghetti due time loom exploding. Loki walks outside without the protection of the suit to absorb the time radiation to start time slipping again so he can go back and change the outcome and save everything. Can’t wait to find out if I am guessing right at least something. 😅

The device that Victor says is his life's work looks exactly like Kang the Conqueror's time ship from Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It would make more sense too as it had capabilities and technology that could possibly fix the temporal loom, or allow Timely to jump the multiverse. If Timely built and connected his ship to the loom, it could give him access to all time.

I think the reason there was a Kang (He Who Remains) that appears to have been “born” in the past is an interesting question. He Who Remains said that he had purged the timeline from all of himself… So I wonder if he actually wanted to drop off a book to the child version of himself in the past or if Miss Minutes wanted to. She said that it was He Who Remains plan to drop off the TVA book to the child, however, she was so desperate to be with He Who Remains perhaps it was her plan to “build another one”. Either way, it was smart timing because they were on the sacred timeline and because of the happenings in the TVA someone knew that the branched timeline with Victor Timely getting the TVA book wouldn’t get pruned.

I have a running theory... What if we're looking at multiple time travel paradox theories this season? First we got the Boot-strap Paradox when Ravonna tosses the TVA book through to young Victor Timely's window. But what if we're also getting a Predestination Paradox? What if that big secret Miss Minute's is about to tell Ravonna is that she will bare a child for HWR and that child was dropped into the past and becomes Victor Timely? And Miss Minutes was SUPPOSED to keep that secret because Ravonna knowing could change that outcome and he would cease to exist. But Miss Minutes is now an AI scorned. If she can't have him, he wont exist for anyone. I mean this whole season seems to be about the ouroboros concept so that fits right in.

I noticed that miss minutes has an accent from back in the time period of victor timely

He Who Remains might have set a plan to transfer his consciousness, by setting a type of password to open the blast doors of temporal loom. And told Ms.minutes to get his variant at the same time when the temporal loom is going to destroy everything. In this way his variant Victor Timely who doesn't know anything will gain the consciousness of He Who Remains after providing his temporal aura to open the blast doors of the temporal loom.

0:33 “alright…. again.” they are definitely in a loop. when loki closes his eyes, he will respawn back to the beginning of the season when he pruned himself. and he will realize that as long as they find their mistake, they can fix the temporal loom. i feel like they gonna go back to dr strange 1 with dormamu that they see they are in the same loop over and over again. and maybe when we see loki walking outside is because he is the one to fix it

I expect Miss Minutes to be the 'big bad' this season. I like her character. I hope they don't kill her, just neuter her in some way for season 3 (I hope there is one).

For all we know she might be the actual big bad for Deadpool 3. They might defeat her by the end of Loki 2, but she might still survive & come back again & bring Deadpool into the mix. Of course Deadpool could be set before the events of Loki.

The last episode was great, super stoked to see Majors again and I think Timely is a really intriguing variant. I’m curious how he’ll end up, good or bad by the end of the season

I've personally thought about this since Rhi Rhi Williams was introduced and us knowing that Kang was coming: what is Rhi Rhi is the replacement Iron Lad, as a variant of Kang or even of Revonna. I think it would make for an interesting story and change

Cool thought. I don't want it tho. Hope not why can't Iron lad be Iron lad. Why can't Iron heart be Iron heart? Rhi Rhi shouldn't be a Ravonna variant or else why create that character. She is cool a herself and Ravonna kinda stinks only a love interest to Kang nothing more in early comics. They did update her in newer comics making her a time traveler I think. Check out Comics explained newer Kang origin story from a few years ago.

But the MCU likes to mush stuff up and I wouldn't be surprised if they took a route that meshed characters together. It's not something I'd personally want to happen but I do agree with the idea having too many Iron ppl will make others confused.

7:35 I’m surprised you didn’t recognize it. That “device” is a prototype of his chair from Ant-Man: Quantumania! I caught that on my 2nd watch. He might have to build the chair to help fix the Loom. As the chair, we know it’s sort of a All-Powerful, handy, tool to magnify Kang’s powers.

I noticed that right away myself and also surprised it was not mentioned here. Good attention to detail.

Do you think that somehow Loki will still timeslip? Because there are some shots in the trailer of him timeslipping weren’t in the show so far. Like the one of him near the jet ski store and a couple of other shots. I think the main thing i noticed was that while he was timeslipping in the trailers, he was wearing a brown coat, and he didn’t wear that coat throughout episode 1. Hopefully they didn’t delete them

To me Ouroborous gives off Data vibes. Between his simple "Ok" when Mobius tells him to get ready to "see hoofing like you've never seen" and his totally sincere "Is this a higher priority than averting temporal meltdown?" His performance just reminds me a lot of Brent Spiner in TNG. And with Season 1's line about "do a lot of people not know they're robots?" makes me wonder if OB might be an android.

I heard his voice in his first appearance on loki show and immediately thought of his younger self from those movies. I remembered his voice and looks but swear I heard he's a different actor all they mentioned was the movie Everything Everywhere! Why wouldn't these KZread review shows mention this fact damn. I didnt want to assume he's the same actor outta ignorance yet. I'm ignorant in different ways. Sorry for that and thank you.

I don't think Victor Timely was born in that time, he could have been left there as a baby by He Who Remains as part of a contingency plan, or even Miss Minutes could have somehow.

Here’s a theory (I’m pulling a bit from the comics here): What if Miss Minutes is an imperfect AI version of Renslayer that HWR created? His “version” of Renslayer could’ve died so he got a variant, put her in the TVA where he could watch her but realized it wasn’t “his” Renslayer. He creates Miss Minutes as a confidant with “his” Renslayer in mind while he tries to mold TVA Renslayer into “his” version that he originally fell in love with. Since Miss Minutes is what he wants from Renslayer, she fell in love with HWR but to him she’s just a tool he’s using to find/mold his version of Renslayer. That’s why she will work with her but doesn’t like her. Minutes may want to take Renslayer’s body or have one created to look like her so HWR accepts her as his love.

Early prediction, OB turns Ms. Minutes off because, well, he wrote the book. Lol

Oroborous could be Kang the Conquerer. he needs He Who Remains' aura to take over the loom and the control of the timeline.

Did anyone notice that O.B. knew He Who Remains died? And no one ever mentioned that to him.

Will be great to see Loki walk outside without a suit - probably the only person in the room to have a natural lifespan long enough to survive unassisted. Ragnarok did a lot to remystify the asgardians, so I'm all in to bringing it even closer. Directly debunking Odin's statement about their lifespan in addition to all they've done to establish their "godhood" would be welcome.

If miss minutes is A.I, it’ll be so hard if somehow Ultron found his way back to assist on manipulating the time line. Reason being, he lost to the avengers once, so why go back to the timeline your familiar with. He completely takes over miss minutes like he did Jarvis

I thought the chair invention was an interesting through thread while showing the difference between victor and kang. One built a chair to keep cool and keep drinks cool while the other created a chair to travel and rule over time.

Well his tech materials limit him to start out with that version first. When he gets his hands on future tech at tva he will start to expand those ideas to build a time chair. It's on comics Kang always ha that chair he time travels with it. Infact in ant man 3 it's there so it's going to be created soon. And in comics Thor shoots that chair with mjolnir electricity after Kang hops in and sets coordinates to escape the avengers but Thor short circuits the chair sending Kang to. Chronopolis where tva is but in MCU it's changed to quantum realm like ant man 3. That's why he mentions Thor!!!!! To Scott lang it's a call back to comic history. Nobody caught it still bugs me but hey I'm weird I guess.

Absolutely true. That is a good point. I was just thinking he might of been restricted by his times technology like he said as well. U make a good point! I wasn't trying to counter your point only build off of it like another Kang more evil could update his chair into a Mobius chair like in DC new gods. And Kang has used that exact chair in comics/cartoon so I'm guessing we saw that to let us know how it was created by another variant of Kang who was more of a scientist less of a conqueror.

Also each Kang might naturally build that chair as innocent refrigerator then with better future tech they can expand it to be able to time travel with it. Ya know what I mean it's both not mutually exclusive

When he said it's his life's work he picked up a little version of his chair that he travels in.

i have a theory that OB is a variant of Amadeus Cho- Kang/ HWR would want someone that smart, who sees probabilities and patterns to help with the TVA. Small thought that maybe Casey is a variant of Amadeus as well.

The way marvel is going with the story of Nathaniel Richards is that he wasn't born on the 31st century he just found a way to time travel at a different points in time which then he decided to stay in the 31st century because of improved technology. That's when he discovered the Multiverse as does his other variants thru deam (as per Dr S. ITMOM we connected to our variants thru dreams). Which brings me to the story of HWR, after looking at every possible outcome he saw there was no escape from him being killed by a Loki so I think he then kidnapped his parents and place them on the sacred timeline so that he is be born there and take over when he dies because as he mentioned on season finale of Loki S1, without a him, without a TVA everything burns 🔥🔥🔥.

My thing is with Miss Minutes and when she went to VT laboratory the mannequins reminded me of the real people of the TVA in the comics!

I can see miss minutes somehow taking over ren slayers body and becoming kangs lover

My theory is that miss minutes will see how victor or kangs always fall for their ravonnas and miss minutes will try to overtake ravonna’s body

At the end of season, one episode one the Minutemen go back to 1858 to Salina Oklahoma and they found a stick in the ground for oil. They said it was from the early third millennia. I don’t believe Loki, Sylvie, put that there. But rather Kang “He who remains” put that there as a contingency plan. According to what I just watched on season two episode three, where Judge Ravonna Renslayer put the TVA handbook on the window sill where a young Victor Timely could find it. Here is the exact quote from that scene from season one episode one. Do you think we will revisit this site again in season two? What are your thoughts on this? MINUTEMAN: Time signature is early third millennium. Definitely anachronistic. Oil. I think some jackass found himself a time machine, came back here to get rich.

What if He Who Remains was actually trying to help? He seemed earnest in believing that this was the only way, but he had a plan to activate Victor Timely a Kang with a plan that would allow them to stabilize multiple branches. At least temporarily. So what if He Who Remains actually sent Loki a more ethical Kang to try? Even if he believes everything else will fail, He Who Remains didn't want things to be how they were.

He Who Remains could well have foreseen his death, thus this backup plan. & it could've been Miss Minutes who orchestrated the whole Loki thing to kill He Who Remains cos of unrequited love.

I wonder how many kangs Sylvie has already killed. I mean this can't be the first one after He Who Remains. Right?!

I think that Renslayer is a secret Kang variant like Sylvie is a female Loki variant.

I think Ms Minutes will take over/use Renslayer’s as her new body.

My theory is that He Who Remains Kang did not select "himself" or the same variant in the timeline, but opted for sharing information with an actually good variant that was not on pair with the others during the war (due to not having access to advanced technology) and he believed that Victor Timely is the right one to be in charge of the TVA.

When lokie is in the walk way maybe somthing went wrong with mobies and he might die their. If he dose die, during the last episode Loki will be the one re recruiting mobies from a different branch line and bring him to the tva, so basically everything we’ll be set to the way it was from the beginning

I think that "ultimate" invention of Victor's is a version of the power source that runs his time machine vehicle in antman..the thing that Janet helps him fix! Which possiblely also can be used to fix the "loom" so who knows?? Either way I think it's the prototype of kangs ultimate time machine "battery".

It should be clear to everyone who's watched both seasons of Loki that the Victor Timely variant, or variants, that originated the TVA and the sacred timeline did it with knowledge and technology stolen from Tony Stark. Most of the equipment used by the TVA are just innovations of devices Tony developed in Endgame. The tempads they use to open time doors and locate nexus events on the timeline serve the save purpose as the wristbands Tony gave each Avenger to go where and when they needed to and come back to there time and place of origin. The time GPS as he called it. Now consider his computational scientific breakthrough that led to those devices. When you look at the physical representation of the sacred timeline in the first season of loki, and more importantly what the timeline looks like when it starts branching, it is the physically existing form of the holographic models he had rendered in Endgame. The unstable models had branches coming off the line in every direction. Tony discovered the final, stable, model using an inverted Mobius strip, which rendered a single continuous time loop, the Avengers "sacred timeline" if you will. When Loki brought up the 2 Tony Starks in defense at his judgement, Rinslayer told Loki that what the Avengers did was supposed to happen. What she really means is that it has to happen for Kang to use Tony's invention to control all of time. And then there's the one greatly significant fact uttered both in Endgame and Loki season one. Scott tells Steve that time works differently in the quantum realm, and on numerous occassions, MOBIUS reminds Loki that time works differently in the TVA. It's quite apparent that the TVA is in the quantum realm.
