great battle! lots of funky routines by Manu and Loic. Also got to remember that this is the finals and that they saved these till now. alot of originals moves and team chemistry. Gogo brothers had alot of that unique style and their dynamic moves. so much fun to watch.

Everytime i look at this clip, i get UPSET! Coz it was some of the best locking i've seen from the gogo brothers, loic and manu doesnt even come close, even if they try, they will never get it, coz theres a big difference between funk and being cheezy. As Judges you have a big responsibilities...and shame on the Judges who made the mistakes....you just dont get it and you'll never get it....next time get judges who knows their shit...stoopid comp...INJUSTICE

yeah we all love gogo brothers but i'm judging them in this particular battle, im sure gogo brothers would waste loic and manu any day but in this particular battle i do think loic and manu brought their best and they deserved the win, just my opinion though, thanks for not totally bashing me though, i appreciate it =P haha peace and keep supporting the old styles

WOW!! well, i guess it just goes to show that you never know what the judges are looking for on any given day. i thought on individual movement the gogo b's had the battle but routine wise loic and manu had it..~sigh~ it depends again on what the judeges are checking for on any given day.when my man from the gogo did the back flip into a split that killed it !!! it was the knockout blow but again,loic and manu had such great routines that flowed extra smooth as slik.great battle all around!!

gogo'style mix some footage skillz....especially their step'skill gotta from elements of"jazz pap" "carleston" "poppin" even "Ballet" when they were youngguys,learned classical dancestyle ......so gotta "monster skillz" of locking!!!

although i agree with the majority from pure funk and technical standpoint Gogo bros should have won this battle hands down. but this is juste debout and there is a reason why its special. the essence of JD is the showcase of two dancers and how they can really dance as one, unfortunately loic and manu are just more prepared and 'showy' than gogo bros in this final battle

Even in Japan it's hard to win as foreigner. But in Old School Night you see Americans win in popping or house contest. I'd say it wasn't biased in this battle, but you have the home advantage. As foreigner you need to do flawlessly, than you get a chance to win.^^ Watch K-1 Japan, how biased the judges are. Mostly you have to win by large margin, or best knock him down. Then nobody can complain:p

you know, as much as i love the gogo brothers, i gotta agree with the judges, (u guys are gonna hate me for this) i believe loic and manu did deliver crazy ass routines after routines, and gogo brothers messed up at the end with their routine, and thats what i think ultimately cost them the battle,... now, go easy on me

The judges are Crap...how could gogo brothers loose. If you want funk..man just look it the way the gogo brothers hold them self the different angles..so damn funky. Funk is not doin cheezy moves. Gogo brothers are just so clean, fast n dynamic sometimes people miss all the funk that they're doing underneath their dance ..so check it again...they're just pure funk.

Whenever its their turn....Manu and Loic always does routines.....It doesnt feel like a battle anymore.....which is more of freestyle Locking.......Bias Judging!!!!!

Manu and Loics' forms, angles, points and Locks itself are way too soft compare to Gogo Brothers. 95% of Comments here goes to Gogo, that explains.

They did like 6 routines ? wow, Last year in Amsterdam we got scolded by bruce, cause somebody did more then 1 routine in a pre round battle. Guess thats because of main & loic:P But really the winners in my eyes: GOGO BROTHERS

Yeah unfortunately the Gogo brothers did mess up one of their routines in their set which most likely cost them the win. Personally I feel overall the Gogo's danced better. What happened to interpreting the funk? I agree that routines are an exciting crowdpleaser and definitely part of the dance, but I appreciate it more when the dancer losses their mind in the funk. If I wanted to see routines, then I would go watch a Broadway show.
