This documentary film is all about a fort that is situated in Southern Haryana. The town name is Loharu, under Bhiwani District . Loharu was a 9 gun Salute state. Loharu fort was made up by the Nawabs of Loharu in 1802. The craft of the fort is versatile. Over the years of construction came into an interesting blend of architecture.The fort was in the hands of subsequent Nawabs of Loharu till 1971 after that last Nawab of Loharu sold it to the govt. Since than the fort is abandoned and is in a very dilapidated stage. Famous poet and shayar Mirza Ghailb is directly related to this fort. Ghalib’s wife Umrao Jaan was Loharu Nawab's daughter. Ghalib visited frequently to the fort and wrote letters to the Nawab of Loharu. Another eminent poet Dag Dahlvi is also from Loharu Fort, Many eminent personalities in Writing was from Loharu Fort.
Motto of the documentary is to aware the govt about this fort and make it a tourist spot which shows the culture of royal India. By making this fort a tourist spot people shall aware about the history of the fort. People of this area also get the employment if govt make this fort a tourist spot. This Fort is on the edge of Rajasthan, and between Shekhawati and Delhi. So, there is a lot of tourist traffic in this area. Loharu Fort is 10 km away from BITS PILANI one of the most popular college and tourist spot. Film City of Rajasthan ‘MADAWA’ is just 40 km from this fort. So, the fort is hidden gem for the tourist purpose. We made this documentary so the govt recover and renovate it and make it a valuable place.

My late Grand father was belong to Loharu. My father was also born there but after Migration of 1947 all the family members migrated to Pakistan. Sometimes, my uncles are telling us regarding the importance of Loaru and it's history. This documentary is the Plus point for our knowledge. We all cousins wish that, once ever in our life, we can visit our Home town.✋🙂

Very beautiful place, if Nawab had entrusted this fort to the state government then the Haryana government should have take care of it, my great-grandfather also used to be friends of Loharu Nawab and used to court with him.

अरे भाई किले के हालात देखकर तो रोना आ गया उम्मीद करो कि कोई ध्यान दिया जाए इस पर हरियाणा सरकार पर्यटन के लिहाज से सबसे खराब है कुछ नहीं करती एक गुजरी महल हिसार खंडर हो रहा है ओर भी 2-4 किले है क्या हाल कर दिए हैं नहीं तो हरियाणा में भी टूरिज्म की पूरी संभावना थी । भाई कुछ तो करो और हां वीडियो कितनी भी लंबी बने पर इतिहास पूरा बताओ

नवाब शसशुद्दीन के पास लोहारू ओर मेवात की फिरोजपुर झिरका रियासत थी . फिर आपस में भाईयों में झगड़ा हो गया था . नवाब शसशुद्दीन से लोहारू रिसायत इसके भाईयों ने अंग्रेजों की मदद से छीन ली थी आखिर नवाब शसशुद्दीन के पास मेवात की फिरोजपुर झिरका रियासत रही

We lived in loharu. My father used to work there about 15 years ago, it was used as a veterinary office then. The famous tunnel was not mentioned here. Visited there about an year ago, most of the sections are completely destroyed. There is no main gate anymore.

My salute to the team behind with wonderful project. I am from Mahendergarh and often get disheartened to see our heritage monuments dying like this. South Haryana has several monuments and places which can be developed to great tourist attraction. But unfortunately, nothing remarkable has been done. Please make a documentary on Mahendergarh.
