There's a lot of upcoming tutorials on Color Grading Insights. I will be posting once a week. You will be able to learn how to create different film looks, like teal & orange, cross processing, horror film or retro look. We will also have a look at the Fusion tab in Resolve as well as we will touch a bit of a color theory:)
Here's also my previous video, where I'm showing how to remove skin blemishes in DaVinci Resolve:

Thanks to this New tutorial... That's crazy what we can do with only 6 nodes 😎🤩🤩
I am in the middle of doing this and it already looks so good...SUBBED!
Thank you from germany :) this will bring up the Videos to the next level :D
Without doubt, this is the best and the most useful "beginner proof" (i would say idiots proof too :)) ) Resolve and Fusion channel that exist. Lots of explanations and side comments, and the tempo is just right. My words are not enough to thank you!

Thanks so much for sharing these tutorials, greetings.
Kasia, thanks for the video, it's really effective with only 4 nodes. Apart your proposal, I've tried using only fusion clip, inverting it, and looks fantastic (all particles go progressing to end creating logo solid). I've used 'render in place' and after 'change velocity--invert'.
@artokmt

In edit tab you invert it?
Very well explained. Thank you again. I love particles in Fusion. Maybe a future lesson could be on using expressions in Fusion particles? I find it hard to follow using a pcustom node. So far no one has really explained it well. It's a challenge.
Glad I found this channel. This was the best tutorial on this I have seen. I'm looking for one to make a particle wave that's just as simple...I hope you have one!

Thanks for this really good video. Is it possible to keep the fusion composition for use on other separate projects? Would I have to render the composition and keep it with my files on my hard drive? Many thanks once again. Tim
thank you for the super video! i'm wondering how I could make this whole thing transparent though? where do I place the background node with the alpha turned down in the fusion node chain? thank you so much for your help!

You just don’t use the background node! And in the edit tab you can put it on top of any clip!

Hi Kasia, thanks for this one. Beautiful! I wonder how (and if) it is possible to reverse the effect...
@colorgradinginsights
3 жыл бұрын
Of course you can! Adjust keyframes and values however you want!
Thank you for this training. Is there a way to have it play in reverse so the particles are coming together?
@caspiansfriend
Жыл бұрын
I would like to know if it can play in reverse as well. Did you get an answer to the question? I was thinking that I could duplicate the clip and use Retime Controls on the second clip and just run it backwards. Or, is that not going to work? I guess I'll find out. But I would rather do all of this in Fusion, better control of the results, etc.

Could just turn it into a compound clip and set the speed to -1

Best how to video for just about anyone. What format do these get saved as? Curious how I can add it into a clip for instagram via my phone without having to go to resolve every time.
Great and quick explanation of the dissolve! Thanks for this! Could you Explain how I could make it the other way arounf? I'd like to make the logo appear instead of dissolve.

Hola! Thanks so much for watching!
Thx for the tutorial! Is there a way to reverse this effect? particles forming a solid picture? I tried to make it a compound clip and then reverse it, but then I get a flashing screen ... I still need it to be a fusion effect as it's layered upon another video

Render it, import it and make it go backwards
MUITO LEGAL
nice
That’s really pretty nice. Can this effect not be installed in DaVinci Resolve so that the same can be applied on any video clip
This is very well explained for my little brain to follow and understand. Just one question, instead of using Spline can't you use anim curves in DVR 17?
@colorgradinginsights
3 жыл бұрын
I find spline very easy to use! But you’re right - most of the time there is more than one way of achieving the same effect!
Thanks for the video, very interesting. -How do I keep this as a composition now to included in other videos? Cheers.
@dougdina
Жыл бұрын
Just render it out as a separate MOV or whatever and add to your library.
Oh my, where to start...ok 1st, after watching many other logo particle tutorials on you tube that were so complicated I gave up and luckily came by yours. 2nd, you are so beautiful and your voice is so mesmerizing I had trouble focusing on the topic. And finally 3rd...I did it! And it turned out great! Your soft voice and direct steps made it easy to keep up. One suggestion....even though I've used Resolve for years, there is one part of all the fusion tutorials that leaves out a big step. If you have existing cut with many clips, how does one apply the effect to a specific clip? It seems so basic but no one seems to cover that. I finally figured out that you add the fusion composition OVER the clip you want to do the magic on and then add all the steps from your video. My mistake was selecting the clip and then going directly into fusion to work on it. Nope, the fusion composition is an overlay on top of an existing clip. Once I figured that out I was on my way. Thanks for the great tutorial...JP

Just use a colorful background!
Nice
Good video but a few questions...How do I make it smaller without compromising quality? You see the smaller you make it via transform node, the blurier it gets. And if I try to do it manually via edit transform page, then it creates a box if that makes sense. How do I do it properly?
❤❤❤
Hi, does anyone know how to do the invert process? To get the logo at the end of the effect?
@dougdina

How about rendering it, importing it, and reverse the clip? Not a stellar solution but it would work.

Hi Beauty, that was awesome ( like you 😘)but,could you please teach us how to save it,to do not have to do the all process every time that we would want to re use it or,if we would want just change the name, colors, etc,etc,etc. Thanks Beauty.
How would you do this in reverse? I have a logo animating out from this (thanks, looks awesome!) but I want the text that follow it to lay over and come together from the particles. Thanks!
