lol..you clearly isnt a technician.

You want to use a contact cleaner rather than plain WD-40. It's the contacts in the volume control that get dirty. WD-40 will just lubricate it some. Contact cleaner will actually get the dirt and crap out of the connectors. The idea was fine just used the wrong spray product.

Maybe its working, but you're right. done this multiple times with speakers and guitars. I used always Loctite Contact cleaner!

So you took apart the whole thing just to spray wd-40 into the popped off cap.. lol got it!

I still thank the video creator for showing me how to open the satelite box quite safely

It’s important to note that the THX badge will possibly break when taking it off. Mine was hard glued in place and had to be broken to get to the top screw.

would it work to just take off the volume knob and spray wd-40 from the front without taking the entire thing apart? i have a crackling speaker when i adjust the volume and i have the same model as you

I'm looking to solve the same issue and from what I understand WD-40 is not good for this application because lacks any lubrication, so using it my affect the longevity of the potentiometer (volume knob) because of higher friction. You have to use a contact cleaner for potentiometers.

If can't....you must take out the board also sir..then spray the WD-40 on top of the volume control.

Al parecer no, era cuestión de intentar sacar la perilla forzadamente desde el exterior. Por lo demás no se ve que esa bocina necesitara limpieza o algo más.

Yes bro...the controller problem bro....its ok to change it bro..but for me...just put the lubricant only can solve it for short term solution

Not do this u broken buttons outside lubrificate with wd 40 or ABRO Master 80 is solution for this problem i fixed my z623 is good now

reproduce algo y mientras este encendido conecta y desconecta varias veces el cable de 15 pines hasta que vuelva a sonar el de graves. en mi caso me funciono pero volvía a suceder lo mismo hasta que conecte el cable de audio a la entrada de la bocina del controlador de volumen y ya no volvió a suceder espero y te sirvan si aún lo tienes

@@carlosguerrero1829 Exacto, no es necesario destaparlo para correjir el problema del potenciometro, con Alcohol isopropilico en esprai y retirar los tapones es igual de efectivo, por lo menos asi lo realize yo y me funciono. P.D: Con WD-40 queda mas suave el recorrido del conrolador de volumen.

You also have capacitor which are under voltage even when turned off. Don't open with metal object it will blow your capacitor if you accidently short circuit the contacts!!!

Sepengalaman saya tidak ada distorsi, selama isi rumah dan tetangga bisa tolerir gas pol aja bang 😂😂😂 tapi kalau naikin volume untuk ngejar punch kick drum biar lebih nendang akan percuma kalau sumber file nya ngga bagus. Dan speaker ini memang bagus banget buat film daripada musik. Kaca pada geterr

Jajajaja solamente tenía que quitar las tuercas que aseguran los potenciómetros para retirar la placa y limpiar directamente el potenciómetro ruidoso.

You could probably literally just blow on the knob while turning it.
