Hi, Grace! Hope you are well? Did you decide if you were moving on from the Astro A50's? If so, what did you end up going with? The Logitech G733 is a lovely headset, minus the average mic, the RGB you can't turn off on the PlayStation, and the stock sound that could use just a titch more bass. The design is great, and the comfort is the best I've experienced. For now, I'm sticking with my Sennheiser GSP670, but I will be keeping a close eye on Logitech to update the G733 with changes that, if done right, could make the headset the best of 2021. Excellent review. You were bang on. You got my sub.

Since this headset has a band similar to SteelSeries' headsets, how does the comfort and sound quality compare to those?

Does the config transfer over to ps4 or will it cancel as it’s not pc?

Logitech is doing it big this year. This headset is so asthetically pleasing and it seems really comfortable. I'm definitely considering getting this headset.

Honestly, if I hadn't bought Senheizers a few months back, I'd 100% go for these, the lilac set looks so good! I might pick them up at some point still though, but I just have to decide if it's worth the purchase

Hi thankyou for this review,nice to hear they are as comfy as they look.Also one thing to note in other reviews they said when wearing glasses the front facing RGBs on the G733 will reflect on the inside of your glasses and is quite distracting, also the RGB cant be turned off when used with console apparently.Not sure if this will happen to everyone who wears glasses or just specific frame types.Cant confirm this until i get the headset.

Love this! You mentioned that you're using an XLR mic, are you able to monitor your mic with zero latency while streaming?

Nope. This is a USB headset, so it doesn’t plug into my audio interface. Which, for me, I don’t mind because I don’t monitor my mic while I’m streaming. If monitoring is a priority, you’d need to plug a 3.5mm or 1/4 inch headset directly into the interface. So for example, the Astro A50’s would be a suitable headset option in that case.

That headset looks so dope! I’d get the blue personally, but they all look great

how long does it take to charge the headset from 0-100?

If your computer has a USB port, you’ll be able to use the USB Dongle.

How it is connected with wire and is the wireless dongle in a separate usb port or does the charging wire have his own usb port?

Removeable Mic is the only great thing that I would be interested. Using a Rhode Procaster and AKG headphones, there is no need for the mic, and reason why I avoid most headphones that have a non-removeable mic. Assuming base station doesn't connect with anything other than USB which is a shame, as I wouldn't be able to plug into GOXLR. Look like a great headset, and reviewed well, just not for me I thinks. Thanks Grace!

I saw your review and decided to get the G733 headset and i'm really liking the fit and sound. Have a question that I hope you can help with, since I can't find any answers online. The battery voice prompt, does it only work at certain levels? When I first turned on the headset it had about 30% charge and I would get a prompt when pressing the power button, but after I charged it, I no longer get a prompt.

Between the 2 headsets, I’d gravitate towards the G733 paired with the G Hub Software. You have far more control with Blue Voice to dial in the mic to suit your needs 👌🏼

Have you had any issues with game chat? I just got this headset and love everything about it EXCEPT that no matter how I adjust the settings in game or in g hub I can’t hear game chat over game audio and it’s getting really frustrating. Any advice??

I’m assuming you mean on console? I haven’t tested them on console with voice chat, so I can’t help unfortunately. I use it on PC while using Discord to communicate with my friends, which works totally fine.

I charge it after each stream with the supplied USB-C to USB-A charging cable. It lasts a 12 hour stream with no issues.

You’ll need to enable monitoring via the Logi G Hub Software. I believe the setting is called ‘Sidetone’.

Question??? Does this headset have Game volume control and chat volume control? My old Turtle Beach stealth 600 has duel volume control. I'm trying to find a nice pair of head phones for my wife but its super hard to find "girly" headsets that don't have lame cat ears or other nonsense on them... I'm a turtle beach fan but there not girly by any means. Letting me know about this would help me decide if these are good for my women. Thank!!! Great Info video BTW.

That would depend more on the quality of the voice chat in game, not the headset. FPS games rarely prioritise incoming voice chat quality.

I’m guessing it wasn’t a major concern for them when designing the collection because the G915 Keyboard has a volume slider on the right side. Personally, I use that over the dial on the headset.

Honestly would like to see the mic difference between the G733 vs the A50... most people aren't going to go out and buy a stand alone studio mic
