Via 3.5mm jack sure, I think it'll work on PS4 with a USB, but I have no idea (just a guess lol)

Great review! Thanks for taking your time to make it. I really like the concept and execution of G560 but your comments about the bass and low volume got me worried that living in a flat a downwards facing sub that's always loud would be an issue. Would I be able to reduce the Windows system volume to e.g. 50% to make the lowest volume on G560 bearable? Also, I'm guessing overly strong bass is not an issue if you can change the equalizer settings?

Well, personally I'd see it as a problem, even at low volume it's bassy. Yeah you could EQ it, but then the bass tones would essentially be non existent

@@TotallydubbedHD Yeah, I've been researching "things" since I posted the comment and there are so many negative reviews on the internet about G560 it's unreal. Not turning back on after computer going to sleep, lights suddenly turning off, bass being too strong (and non-existant after the latest firmware update), 2% volume being too loud, etc. I followed your advice in this video and will be getting the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5. Unless something better has come out since you posted this video?

I really didn't wanted to face the fact that this thing didn't have a bass knob so I went over to Logitech's website, found the setup guide and was truly disappointed. Why !? They could've put it at the back of the subwoofer at the least. I guess I'm better off with the Logitech Z625 (don't care much for the RGB) awesome video! You were really thorough

I'm not sure why everyone is saying that the bass is too much and sound is too loud? I don't notice that. Also I bought this for the subwoofer but was disappointed. It doesn't have a powerful base that everyone claims. I'm guessing it could be a faulty hardware?

They sound good, but I agree, if you don't need RGB there are a lot of better options out there, for less. Right now, the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 w/Bluetooth go for $149 at Best Buy and have a more refined sound across all frequencies. They don't sound a great deal better than the G560, but they are cheaper and DO sound better.

The Klipsch 2.1 Promedia aren't the same quality that they were in the early 2000's.

I returned mone. The issue with volume going from mute at 0-1 setting and going to 50 dB at 2 is beyond ridiculous. If you don't use USB, then no lighting and no sub control.

You're one of the few "reviewers" on KZread that expressed concerned with bass or would address the USB volume issue. Logitech says there is a firmware being pushed soon, but we've heard that for 2 months.

£200?... I dunno I would rather get the KRK RP5 G3 for £250. Bookshelf speakers all the way, my M-Audio AV40's have been with me for 4 years now and cost me £100... Aside from not having a sub I have yet to hear a better sounding speaker for less, this for £200?... Nah. I remember before I bought the M-Audio's I got the Corsair 2.1 setup, what a joke and that almost cost me £300. Strip away the sub from these 2.1 gaming sets and all you have is average £60 speakers, a £100+ bookshelf speaker will wipe the floor with these. Get Audio engine, mackie, Alesis, M-Audio, KRK, Yamaha and the king of the them all KEFF speakers over "gaming" speakers, way too over priced for what they are. You can get M-Audio AV32.1 setup for £150... That's Bookshelf speakers with a Subwoofer, if you can review them please.

John Jones For 200€ you can get proper speakers with a good subwoofer. Even at 100€ u have amazing speakers, these deffinately not worth. WAIT i see the subwoofer now, ok better, but still a no from me. Everyone likes headsets for gaming but it doesnt compare to having loud speakers playing a good game like battlefield - my speakers coated me 20€ and have a small subwoofer and i still prefeted them over my sennheiser HD598 black edition (got them on black friiday years ago, was living with parents and couldnt use loud speakers because of them or alao to not bothwr neighboors but when i moved to live alone i started to like alot the loud speakers, felt very good). These are really cashing on the gaming brand and rgb, i rather buy a "regular" set of speakers, probably around 100€, should be enough for me, dont really know, but these i wouldnt, just saying.

John Jones Yeah but my point is i prefered using my 20€ speakers with its small subwoofer than my 150€ headset (i bought at 99€ i think, on black friday), battlefield sounds so good. I guess headphones get kinda annoying if used all day.

I bought this speakers and return them back after two hours. They are not the best, they are not even good, thay are terrible speakers I was using Altec Lansing MX5021 for 17 years and I just continue to using old speakers. There is no middle tones and high tones. Joke for 300 dollars. They are good for people who didn't hear better. In the meantime I bought Altec Lansing PT6021 and Im happy with them.

G560 is a broken product, shit (complete lack of) support from Logitech. The driver forces windows to recognise them as a 7.1 setup, which of course they aren't. This means that most of the sound is missing (i.e. front and centre channels). DTS Virtual Surround doesn't work on many systems either, seems to be a driver conflict. The only way to get them to work is to rollback the driver to the generic Windows USB speaker driver, so they can actually work as the 2.1 setup they are, but this in turn disables things like the EQ (which, by the way is completely necessary, the default sound is far too bass heavy and generally badly balanced in many other ways) and renders the speakers a complete waste of money at this price point. Logitech tech support have been beyond useless, offering nothing more than something along the lines of 'have you tried turning it off and on again?'. Once again, avoid like the plague.

These speakers are trash. Wether you use the Ghub or Logitech Gaming Software you will experience features that don't work, bugs and sometimes the speakers won't even be recognised. For some reason Logitech decided to release these without them being fit for purpose given the state of the software. As they've been out for so long it's obvious they don't care about the customers who've run in to no end of issues with them. Don't believe me? Check out the numerous complaints on forums about the speakers\software. I won't be buying from Logitech again after my experience with these speakers. I own a Logitech keyboard, mouse and webcam, all of which I'm really happy with but these speakers don't work properly with the current state of the software. If they were fit for purpose I'd give them a 3.5 rating or a 4 due to the RGB lights, which are good, if\when you can get them to work but the amount of hassle you have to go through with the software to even get them to work isn't worth it.

yup, software is something I complained about too - pretty poor integration with LGS, yet GHub works - the latter is buggy though.

Corsair SP2500 still better!

I bought some of these. They sound like shit. And the left light is dead after less than 2 months. Fuck this review, I don't believe that you even used these for any appreciable length of time. These things suck shit and Logi won't do anything about it, nor will they honor any warranties.
