I currently use the g903 and son has the g703. I tried the g502 in the store and boy did it feel great. That was the first time I ever used the g502 now I am torn on getting it or keep using my g903. It’s just so much more comfortable for shooters how the buttons are layer out.

@@meme-hj5rs I went ahead and bought the g502. I love the button layout and would have kept it. But the g502 is noticeably heavier than the g903 even without any weights in both of them. I ended up keeping the g903 and returned the g502. For me and my long fingers I was able to realize how much the g903 was comfortable for my hand. Plus I feel the g903 is a tad more better quality than the g502. I had the g903 for almost a year before I got the g502 so I was used to the weight. But we are all different so the g502 may be the better for you but you can’t go wrong with either one.

@@meme-hj5rs if you already have the old g502 then it’s an easy choice. Hey the g502 light speed to retain muscle memory. It’s wireless but the tech is so good you won’t know the difference. Plus the battery lasts so long you may just have to charge it twice a month unless you get the pad which I personally don’t care for. You can also keep it plugged in if you never want to charge it.

Do all 3 have adjustable weights?

I've had my g502 hero for about 3 months and I'm having double click issues. Does the new lightweight g502 have a better sensor on the mouse buttons? I'm not sure if I want to get a replacement as it seems that it's very split for if it lasts for a long time or breaks early.

One thing I heard, not sure if true. Someone posted that the G-hub doesn't allow for the 3 dpi lights on the Lightspeed to _STAY_ on while you game. Is this true?

yes they turn off and i think you can change that through the ghub, but I don't know why would you like that as I rarely change my dpi. plus every time you turn off and on those lights give you an indicator of how much charge the battery has.

@@celphtitled8284 Kind of funny, I ordered one a few days ago, just got it today. ...and oh boy, G hub SUCKS compared to the Logitech Gaming Software that I have for my G502 Proteus Spectrum. But anyways, I like having the lights on so I can kind of tell through peripheral vision where the mouse is relative to the pad since I have one of the smaller mouse pads (11½ inches x 13½ inches) and it's barely big enough to fit on my desk shelf that pulls out. Oh, and I usually play at night in a dark room, so, yeah. Sometimes when I'm in a long firefight I get too distracted and when the lights are off I have to look down to replace my mouse, obviously not the best thing to do but that's the only reason I like the lights on. Going to test the Lightspeed tonight. Now I just need a RTX 3080 to go with all the new stuff I've been buying for my rig.🤞

Braided cables on Logitech splits overtime and do tangle not sure if this happens on other brands i preferred Logitech G502 Lightspeed not just on that reason.

Yea, 3 days after getting my Proteus core a few years back the braided cable got ripped

I was trying to get better at aiming, which im not the best but i was good at it while I had the G502, I wanted to switch to a G Pro Wireless, bought it... was shit with it, tried it for 2 months and... i was shit... went back to the proteus and was a good again... think the weight helps me stay in control i guess... is it worth for me to get the wireless one, or should i stay with the old version.

haha crazy - well each to their own, most people I know would prefer a lighter mouse for aiming; and completely up to you wireless = wired in terms of performance really; so if you want wireless freedom, get it, if not, stay on wired :)

I'm replying to you way late, but if you're having issues with aim and find that a heavier mouse is helping you, it's pretty likely that your sensitivity is too high, even if lowering it feels bad at the time, it's probably worth trying to get used to.

Do all of them come with mouse scroll left and right tilt?

The only thing I don't like about the G502 is the rubber on the sides since it wears off over time and then you have to get a new mouse :(

Same. I noticed the textures wear off just from having your thumb rest on it. Would've been nice if it had removable side panels so you can replace them.

I recently bought a G502 Lightspeed and the Powerpaly mat. The pairing between the two worked ok, the G logo lights up and mouse is working with the usb dongle that came with the mouse being disconnected. HOWEVER, and this is a big one. The white led in the Powerplay mat never lights up. I´ve tried everything, followed carefully the instructions, used the G Hub software, have the newest updated firmware and the Powerplay check marked in G Hub (which is a big step back compared to the LGS software btw, one has to wonder why on the earth Logitech doesn´t support this mouse with LGS!)...NOTHING WORKS. The Powerplay white led never lights up, and my mouse is not being charged. So, after losing 5 hours of my free time I became fed up and sent the Powerplay back to Amazon. I´ve kept my G502 and I´m very happy with the mouse. The Powerplay and the G Hub software has been a huge disappointment, though.

@@TotallydubbedHD Probably, but since the G Hub is so new and the 502 Lightspeed is only supported by G Hub and not in LGS, I wouldn´t be surprised if there´s some kind of software pairing problem. Anyway, for 100$ I expect to work flawlessly, so no Powerplay for me atm.

@@TotallydubbedHD I´ve been going for an hour through the Logitech forums, and there is a TON of posts regarding Powerplay charging problems, with several models of compatible mouses. My guess is either 1) Powerplay mousepad (charging) quality is rubbish or 2) G Hub is rubbish and it´s messing with the hardware capabilities, since I´ve noticed it has a lot of diverse bugs (hardware disappearing, etc.). Anyway, just stating this in case someone else buys the G502 Lightspeed for the wireless charge. Mouse itself is amazing, btw.

That said I'm thinking in terms of using it whilst it's connected and not just charging it. Great comparison by the way. You're really filling the void of reviewers that quote Taylor Swift too 😄

@@superliljohn91 indeed, it could do - however the actual connection to the mouse - a USB port doesn't have a locking mechanism as microUSB - making it a better port while you flick your mouse from left to right lol And cheers :D

I still think micro USB should die already, but maybe that's because I'm still clinging on to my Galaxy S6 and have to use the sodding things to charge it. The G703, for a logitech product, is a pretty bad mouse in my opinion. There is a plastic squeeze sound when you apply a little force on the sides, that is a no brainer, who cares but my big problem is the scroll. A lot of G703s come with a fabric defect and their scroll is back-scrolling. For example you are trying to get to the bottom of the page and suddenly the the scroll starts going up the page and that slows you down a lot in the long run.
