Love this mousepad, I bought this 2 months after buying newly released g703, and used it since then. Mouse pad is great but they could do it much better, for example: smaller "hub" (you can bump into it sometimes when you play low sens), different sizes (just bought Ikea pad because of little size, will give it a try), rubber base (seriously, they could just make it plastic and you will not have problem with replacement of top layer but they did special version and you can't even buy new when old one wear off)
nothing makes me happier than when boardzy puts the schipperke puppy on the table in the middle of a review
You can swap out the power play plug for a charging stand plug that lets you plop the mouse down on a charger instead of using usb c
I don't go over 2k polling on my Viper V2 because I drop frames in CPU intensive games. To be fair, I also had been using 500hz polling until I dropped an X3d processor into my AM4 setup. I don't think there are a ton of gains to be made after 2k. Vaxee 1k polling competitive mode feels better than all of them imho
@woswasdenni1914
11 ай бұрын
there are no gains - full stop period. at best you have the same latency at higher power consumtion (cpu and gpu) and BEST. more likely you add more latency, it can even be a lot more. 500 instgead of 1khz is a better choice than 4k/2k instead of 1khz. even tough 1khz is already kinda placebo. the reason why people are mislead is an either incompetent or willing misleading representation of a certain youtuber.. ofc the industry didnt complain and thankfully sell updates versions of that nonsense. the reason why for example the mousepointer is better visible on 2k/4k is simply microsoft limits its updates fractional. 1khz updates was already way way way to much. this is due to recalculations between the frames that are unnessesary. so tghe mouspointer visual is actually a lot lower than a high refreshrate display. the 2k/4k polling now kidna overrides that by spamming more into inputs. raising cpu latency raising cpu load (in linux you can now fill an enitire core with mousemovent alone) butg yea you get a frame accurate (or close to) mousepointer its just pointless games do not limit this, usually or limit it by framerate (like source engine). 500hz is more than fast enough to spam enough inputs to be in synch enough with your visuals pretty much frame accurate. razer introduced a sync feature which would gurantee in sync always but adds a ton of latency. in reality at 240hz 500 should be frame accurate most of the time and should always be 2 frame accurate

Clicks will help with the double click issue. They wanted to keep the great battery life it already has, so they didn't go with 4k polling rate.
Played val with mine for a few hours last night.. the clicks grew on me really fast and I actually really like them. Only things I don't like is the noise but if you have headphones on it wont matter. As for the 2k, it feels great and have no complaints. @@obumbrataetvelatamichiquoq9085 I hope regular people, not just enthusiasts, start favoring mid sized companies more over Logitech. G-Wolves, Ninjutso, Pulsar, Lamzu, EGG are all great companies. If that were to happen, Logitech losing a big market share might make them more innovative. We're already heading in the right direction. I mean 4 years ago in Pro CS the mice pros were using were split 33.3% Zowie, 33.3% Razer, 33.3% Logitech. In pro VALORANT It's a lot more varied. ASUS, EGG, Finalmouse, G-Wolves, Lamzu, Pulsar, and a surprisingly high share of VAXEE are all being used in top level.

@@obumbrataetvelatamichiquoq9085 I have an HTS+4k, good mouse but if I had to choose between both I would still take the GPX 2 based on overall build quality and sensor performance (despite the fact it is only 2k). Not sure about the Sora. The 2k implementation on the GPX feels better to me than both the Lamzu and hts+ implementations, only mice I would recommend over it are Razer if you prefer their shapes. However, this is all just opinion.
Personally, i like my superlight 2. The clicks are definitely heavier but feel more premium and tactile. The sensor implementation feels great, really smooth. The shape is basically the same with a slightly drier coating. I already liked my superlight 1, but ive also had the starlight 12, viper v2, deathadder v3, lamzu mini, and x2 mini. So far im going to keep using the superlight 2 as my daily. I would say only get it if you really like the gpx shape and want heavier, more premium switches. The increase due to the hero sensor/2k is somewhat negligible.
@toastymctoastinson
11 ай бұрын
is it really worth it tho, the black gpx is selling for 75$ without shipping on maxgaming rn is paying double that price worth it just for new clicks and a sensor that will feel the exact same to even the og hero sensor?
@brianjuice
10 ай бұрын
@@toastymctoastinson I mean it depends on what you mean by worth it. Different people have different financial situations, and to an enthusiast collector, it is significant enough of an upgrade to check it out. But you definitely don't NEED to upgrade if you already have the v1. The only main difference is the clicks, and the improvement due to the sensor/2k is fairly marginal. Literally everything else is the same. If you're happy with your V1 and you can't afford to drop $160 on a very similar mouse, then yeah it'd totally not be worth it. But if you just like collecting mice or were desiring heavier, more tactile clicks for your V1 with a slightly upgraded sensor, then I'd say the upgrades would be worth it. For a person who has never owned a superlight, debating to get the V1 or V2, the main difference would be if you want the lightest, spammable clicks, go V1. For a 10% better sensor experience and heavier, more tactile clicks go V2.

now they need to upgrade and release new g703 , wish they could add bluetooth 5.2 and an extra pair of skates with every new mice launch and razer should also do that , overall a good upgrade for the gpx with internal upgrades , logi needs to release a new mousepad to compete with zowie , steelseries and release mice successor for g402, g102 , g305,g402 which had terrible double click issues , wtf is logi doing with these slow releases , i think the ceo is sleeping and the management is brain drained

Good review my man
I mean, i don’t use a powerplay matt, that shit is absolute garbage, but I do have a charging dock i could use with this mouse that attaches on the magnets, it’s pretty dope. It looks cool, and is super functional, instead of having to grab a cable, i just put the mouse on there, and it SNAPS on. But honestly, that should be an optional product, it has no place in a professional gaming mouse.
I don't mind they didn't change the shape or did major upgrades/changes on the mouse, its their most succesful mouse if not top 3. If they change too much, then people would be complaining that why they deviate from the original concept that was succesfull etc, its impossible to please everyone. If something works, why change it (i mean the mouse shape).
Gas this man up to 200K 🎉
since I have both the og and v2 I dont see the point to continue using the OG if I enjoy more the clicks and sensor on the V2, I do hope they realease a 4k dongle at least and a GPX signature edition made of carbon fiber to make it even lighter, but thats probably too much to asks.

I would suggest going to a Best Buy or Microcenter and trying out the display mouse to see if it feels comfortable in your hand. If it doesnt feel right in your hand, there are mice with better specs at better prices.
So for fast edits the left and right click will be good? My old GPX broke and I don't want to get the GPX 2 instead of the GPX and be disappointed
From logitech coming into the market with the original gpx setting a standard for years to come, to releasing a mouse which is subpar to a razer release of almost 2 years ago, what a downward trend.
I used to use power play when I played 1600 DPI 10 sens (1 sens on Val) but when I moved to 1000 DPI 3 sens (.28 on Val) the mousepad is just far too small

I have a friend who bought 2 copies of a big mouse pad, made a cut out in one so the power play mouse pad fits inside it and then put the second one on top. So now he has a big mouse pad with a small area that has power play.

1600 on 1.0. What in the actual fuck.
Huh? You can bind the scroll wheel up/down to do something? My GHub doesnt allow my GPX to do it and its my biggest problem with the mouse.
Couldn't care less about that shape. G305 and G703 Superlight please.
Should i upgrade to Superlight 2? RIght now using Superlight 1 almost 2 years
so glad i bought the finalmouse
Powerplay being useless? If we are using hearsay as a sample size ill bangwagon. I use it, so do 5 of my friends I play games with often. I recently went to a Aerox 5 and noticed how beneficial powerplay is - I actually dont't understand whilst other companies haven't integrated this as a novel technology into their product stack.
hey bro, is it normal when you shake the mouse for it to make a noise inside bro? I have gpro 2 magenta
