Logic RARE Interview on his "Farewell" Album and Retiring to Rural Oregon

Ойын-сауық

Bobby Hall -- better known by his stage name Logic -- first started making waves in the rap scene with his 2010 mixtape "Young, Broke, and Infamous".
In 2018, he blew up and received two Grammy nominations for a song he titled 1-800-273-8255, which is the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
But just a couple years later, he announced his retirement and moved to rural Oregon to focus on his family.
In this episode, Guy and Bobby talk about the methods he’s been using to cope with his persistent anxiety, and why he’s gearing up to release what he's calling his last "rap" album ever.

Last rap album means no more commercial success records after this one I assume. I imagine we’ll get more Alternative music in record formats; or beat tapes. As for rap, I imagine he just wants complete creative freedom to drop free music over whatever samples he wants whenever he wants

Really enjoyed this interview. It’s always a pleasure and eye opening listening to Bobby speak as a person/husband/father first and as a artist second and to hear him speak on creativity, depression, anxiety, family, inspiration, etc. it’s inspiring and dope to just truly see people as human and you get to see the real them, truly.

Such a calming interview, I love it, no yelling, no screaming, just a calm conversation, im in severe teeth pain, dealing with depression, and adhd, im a hard worker but I can't seem to hold a job down, I get bored, I don't get a fulfillment in doing these dumb jobs, I get enjoyment through creating music and doing things that will heal and not destroy..

The mans been rapping for almost 20 years. 20 years after the slim shady EP eminem dropped revival which obviously didnt compare to his old music and was garbage. The fact logic made vinyl days 2 years ago and it was as good as it was shows something@@FrigidHeights
