You know what I notice most about Logic. His intelligence. The way he explains he thoughts and emotions is crisp, and crystal clear.

It's obvious that this a reason why most of black people don't accept him as black. He's articulate and sharp, things that are considered white.

So I guess white people from the bayou aren't really white? Most white people from Boston or new York aren't really white? That's some braindead racist bullshit you're spreading there, James.

Jakob Vogel Half of his songs talk about him being biracial so I’m not sure why you’d be surprised or offended by reading a comment about it. I never knew who Logic was till I saw him on Hot Ones and I just assumed he was just some white rapper. I went and checked out his music and he’s talking about being black and being white and being proud of both.
Really fucked up how hard the internet bullied this man after all he's been through. Now he's retiring after a crafting a timeless masterpiece and sticking it to his haters. He's gonna be a great dad, learning from his parents' mistakes. Wasn't always a fan. But after his last record, and more importantly, learning his story; i can say that i have a shit ton of respect for Logic. Happy retirement man, you earned it.
The comments on this are kinda shitty. This dude's telling us his life story, lots of emotions in that. Who cares if he said a word a lot? This guy is wise beyond his years. With what he was raised around and he still came out a good person? Respect.

Literally in tears. Can relate on so many levels to a challenging upbringing and the effects it has on your mental and physical health. How amazing is it that he became the person he is through all that adversity? You can see that he wears his soul on his sleeve. People need these kind of human beings to role model. Phenomenal rapper and lyricist that uses his platform to elevate consciousness humbly. Respect ✊

Yup.
I’m not sure why people hate logic so much. If J Cole made Everybody and spoke on being biracial and his issues, people would call it “progressive” and it would win awards. Not sure why people have to hate him for being biracial, but that’s pretty damn racist. No matter how you look at it. “I don’t hate him because he’s biracial, I hate him because he talks about it so much” in his ENTIRE decade long discography has ONE album that focuses on his race and the state of the world right now. Logic is a dope rapper. He just doesn’t fit the stereotypical rapper look. And people hate that. He has a personality and is himself. Yet everyone hates on him. Get a life and hate on R Kelly or Sam Pepper, or someone that’s actually fucked up.

@ThePeacePlant

Lol, no not at all. You watch too many movies. Skaters don't really say 'gnarly' what so ever. It's more of a stereotype that surfers say it, but notice I use the word stereotype, it's an exaggeration of what a surfer would say
It's insane how me and logic have way more in common I'd never expect. 1. Mom does crack since I was a kid 2. Father uses identity for selfish reasons 3. Ditched both parents for their wrongdoing 4. Growing up around the most negative influential people in living area. 5. Rap about reality and underrated

This is an awesome interview!!!
I grew up in the same area as Logic, and I know his dad. His dad would always try and get me to listen to his sons music, but I never thought much of it. Now he is huge and it is crazy to me! Lol

All love to you Logic. This would break most people, but you made it through.
Before I watched this I had only liked Logic for his music, but after I have a massive amount of respect for him for all the shit he went through and who he is now
I’m crying. Wish I could give him a hug
I sat here listening to this man talk, thinking to myself "man, this guy has got to be an air sign". Turns out he is. Makes sense. He is so real to me, it's like he's figured out his pain and worked through the reasons of his trials in this lifetime. To me, that's rad. It's a genius marketing move to be real, which is so crazy, because you'd think that's a simple thing. It's not though, alot of people go their entire lives without questioning themselves or looking at the truth buried deep within, let alone being vulnerable to the world. I wish I had his courage because if I did, nothing could stop me.
