why is the logi bolt compatible with the m575 but not the mx ergo , isnt the mx ergo also business ? i want to connect my k860 & mx ergo through bolt at work

Thanks for making this i found that i was looking for an answer to if i can connect multiple devices to a logibolt and it seems that i can do so I'll have to buy some of those logitech pop keys real soon i reckon they look super cool

After Logi Bolt is paired with my keyboard is it possible to connect the receiver to another device, and use it? For example if I want to use it with PS3 (Linux), will it work after it's been paired on another computer?

Hi. 90% of the time I am using 2 laptops in paralel and for the rest of the 20% I am using 3 laptops in the same time. Moving from one to another became very annoying because I have to switch the pc from the mouse and keyboard. I can’t install Logitech flow on 2 of the pc (one is Linux and the other is blocked by corporate policy). For each pc I use usb receivers and the keyboard and mouse are linked together in each receiver. Why switching the pc from the keyboard does not produce a switch also in the mouse or a switch from the mouse to switch automatically the keyboard ? Is it possible? I use MX Keys keyboard and MX Master 3S

If I use a unifying receiver with an MX Master 3 and an MX Keys, would there be any meaningful performance benefit with logitech bolt technology? I'm far less worried about security and encription, but $240 isn't much to upgrade to bolt if it's "faster, smoother, more precise".

Why did you changed from unifying to bolt? Why are the not interchangeable?

I bought Logitech MX Keys Mini for a brand new PC and also the Logi Bolt USB receiver since bluetooth keeps disconnecting. The problem is that every time I turn on the computer, the keyboard is disconnected and the number on the keyboard that indicates which machine is connected (in my case that is #1) is blinking. Pressing or keeping the button pressed simply doesn't work. The only thing that works is if I switch USB port of the Logi Bolt. Only then it connects. I am sure that this is not right and I'm tired to do this all the time. Do you have any suggestions, or is it diffective and I have to return it?

Hi there, The Logitech K650 is not a multi-device keyboard and cannot be used on different computers at the same time. Also, you can pair the keyboard to a different Logi Bolt receiver.

Can I connect my keyboard with easy switch to three different PCs using Logi Bolt on every single one of them?

Hi El, We are really sorry for your experience. Please be informed that Unifying devices are not compatible with Logi Bolt receivers. Logi Bolt is based on the global wireless standard for simple, secure connectivity, Bluetooth Low Energy Wireless Technology. Logitech Unifying is a proprietary 2.4 GHz radio frequency wireless protocol that was developed by Logitech. Plainly, they don't speak the same language.

The G715 is a Lightspeed keyboard and is not compatible with the Unifying Receiver of the Logi Bolt Receiver. If you have misplaced your Lightspeed dongle or it is no longer working, please reach out to support as we do not currently have this available for purchase.

I'm confused. I bought an MX Keys which came with a unifying receiver, and my older MX Master connects to that just fine, but the MX Keys can't connect to the older unifying receivers I have, and the products page says it's only compatible with Logi Bolt. It's kinda strange that you didn't just make everything backwards compatible, so everything can still comnect, but just can't take advantage of the newer tech.

As with most new technologies, allowing older technology to connect to new technology is easier as the protocols can be built into the new technology that allows the older connection to still function. However, do to massive changes in the way the technology works from a hardware perspective, allowing the new technology to connect to the old technology is not possible.

It would've been convenient if the Wave Keys and MX Ergo trackball could use the same receiver. I was hoping to streamline by using just one receiver with my new Wave Keys, but unfortunately, they require different ones. Quite disappointing! It begs the question: what's the point of a 'unifying' receiver if it can't actually unify everything?

We have upgraded to the Logi Bolt, our new and more secure version of the Unifying receiver. This means that all new hardware we release, outside of gaming, will have the latest technology for your peace of mind. Unfortunately, due to the different types of chips used between the two connectors, they aren't compatible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

And still no USB-C dongle? What a shame!🤦🏼‍♂

I'd rather use a hub on the USB-C port and then connect the dongle. I don't wanna use my thunderbolt port just for peripherals.

I having a K650 keyboard & M650 Mouse with separate Logitech bolt. Understand that I combine these 2 devices in 1 Logitech bolt via Logibolt app. However, if I download the app and add the devices into 1 logi bolt receiver with my Macbook, can I use the said receiver on my HP laptop (Window 10) or any other computer?

Hi Ramon, Please be informed you will have to connect your combo via receiver or Bluetooth on one each device you wanna establish the connection with. That is you can connect the receiver to Windows and then use another receiver or Bluetooth to connect the MacOS.

@@logitechsupport Hi. I have same combination, K650 & M650. When I plugged the Bolt into the computer and turned on the mouse, the connection went smoothly (without any Logitech software). But when I turned on the keyboard, it could not connect to the mentioned Logi Bolt. I only have the Bluetooth connection option left. My question is - how to add a keyboard to an existing Logi Bolt WITHOUT Logitech software. For reasons unknown to me, I cannot install Logi Options + on my computers. But that's another problem, I'd stick to the issue of pairing, without software. Thank you in advance.

Please answer. I got a g305 for a birthday present, and I never got the dongle. I don’t know what to do with the mouse as I can’t connect it. It has never been connected to any computer. If I buy a logi bolt receiver, will it connect my mouse? Thank you😊

The G305 uses Lightspeed technology which is different from Logi Bolt. The receiver would have been packaged in the box with the mouse. Unfortunately, purchased a Logi Bolt receiver will not work with the G305.

Logi Bolt and Unifying are not compatible. Bolt is our new more secure and faster proprietary connection that was designed to replace Unifying receiver. In order to continue using non-Bolt devices that require Unifying receiver you will need to continue using the Unifying receiver.

If I setup my Logi Bolt Receiver on a Mac can I plug the Logi into a pc and have all my devices work seamlessly ? Thanks in advance...

If you mean are you able to move your Logi Bolt receiver to your PC after connecting your devices to the same Logi Bolt dongle, then yes. Once the devices are synced to the Logi Bolt receiver they will connect to it automatically, regardless of the computer you plug them into.

Is any way to use 1 usb resiver for me?. i have a old keboard and had 705 mouse. I cud bombine those on 1 resi. but now got the new logi lift, this 1 did come wiht a bolt resiver, so now i use 2 usb port, 1 for old keboard 530 and 1 for new Logitech Lift Vertical. Is it posible to combine use 1 resiver???

Products using Logi Bolt are not compatible with the Logi Unifying receiver and vice versa as they are two different technologies, so, unfortunately, there is no way to combine the newer products onto the old receivers or the old products to the new receivers.

MX Mech Mini was only usable using this thing, standard Bluetooth connection was horrible.

So if the keyboard or mouse is not "for business" I cannot use the logi bolt or it doesn't matter if it isn't "for business"

It does.... The "business" costs like 50/60 bucks more (with current prices if bought individually) and they allow you to use the logibolt for both. Otherwise you'll be stuck (like me) with a logibolt for the Master 3, and with the bloody unifying one for the keys....Which is greedy and absurd....

Hi Abigail, No, the Logitech MK320 combo is not compatible with the Logi Bolt receiver. To know if your device is Logi Bolt compatible you can check for the Logi Bolt (lightening) logo on you device.

If the keyboard or mouse has the easy switch feature you can use each device with up to three Logi Bolts receivers or pair via Bluetooth. Bolt supported keyboards and mice aren't compatible with the Unifying receiver though, if I'm not mistaken.

M275 uses the Unifying Nano Receiver, which you can purchase separately and sync to your existing Unifying products - please note this is different technology than the Logi Bolt in this video.

why does it seem like most of your products are right handed? are there left handed/ neutral mice with this receiver? Any that have a similar feel and weight to a G703?

We offer three different mice that are for left handed users and use the Logi Bolt technology; the Ergo Lift, Signature M650 and Signature M550. If Logi Bolt is not a necessity, that list expands quite a bit. Sorry :-( ). @Trân-Anh: They're two different wireless-technlogies. So, they're not going to work together / with each other. (Products that were designed for[/with] "Logitech Unifying" are-not going to work with "Logi-Bolt" and vice-versa: Products that were designed for[/with] "Logi-Bolt" aren't going to work with "Logitech Unifying").

Hi Jen, The Logitech MX Keys Mini is compatible with the Logi Bolt receiver. The Unifying receiver will not work with the Logi Bolt devices. Also, the Logi Bolt receiver is not included in the package of MX Keys Mini keyboard. The receiver needs to be purchased separately.

How about this scenario. Brand New computer build. No OS on system and installing Win 11 for first time. If I buy the MX Keys S Keyboard that comes with the Logi Bolt Dongle to plug into back of I/O ports of the motherboard, and also MX Anywhere 3S mouse no dongle, would I have success to install the new OS? Or is this an after Windows installed addition this keyboard and mouse?

Something really annoying - Logi Bolt marketing really makes it seem like its compatible with a Thunderbolt port.. .especially when they never show the Receiver port type and show USB_C in the video on a laptop... Really unhelpful... Research shows is a USB 2.0 type-A.
