This log home is actually a kit home using manufactured logs. A nice place but there is a caveat, Texas is hot and humid. If you're okay with that then this property is a good choice.

I lvoe this house and 42 acres of land is terrific. Is it zoned for commercial use? So you could conceivably set it up as a B&B or dude ranch? BTW the focus is fine.

Let’s talk property taxes even thought you never mentioned the price. Texas has some of the highest property taxes in the US! 🤔

Buy enough property to use egg tax or wildlife exemption depending on the county in Texas some of them can be as little as 10 acres

Each county is different too. Medina County where I live is very low due to population growth. Went down another 5% last year
