Log Arch Moving First Log Homemade DIY @SpencersMountain

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

@SpencersMountain We finally got around to giving the log arch it's first test. Here is the build video if you have not seen it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Yndn2qeAk5bZYZs.html
The reduction system for the winch easily lifted a 750-to-800-pound sappy white pine log.
Be sure to check out some of our other videos. Our projects have been pretty diverse and not too limited to any particular subject. Mostly DIY homemade tools and machines that will help us with our off grid home build. We are just getting started and there will be a lot coming from this channel.

Thank you! Paint was for fun. So far, the log arch has been useful lifting logs and even getting logs and steel tube on a trailer. Adding a cheap dolly to the hitch turns the arch into a hand truck. Thank you for watching!

Thank you ,Charlie. Always fun to share ideas and learn new things. Synthetic cable, recovery rings and soft shackles are all new to me and welcome technology. But then I still defaulted to chain. Thank you for the comment and thank you for watching.

Thanks, Lance! Debby has done some sponge paint projects that inspired this paint concept. Just have to have fun occasionally with projects. Thanks for watching and thank you for the comments.

Thanks. Hunk of synthetic sponge dipped in paint and slapped on. Gets rid of spare paint. Kinda fun too. Thanks for watching!

Thanks, John! Yes I built the arch wide enough to straddle the mill bed. Good thing we think alike. Thank you for watching.

Тяжелее, чем должно было быть. Дешевый металлолом используется для экономии средств. Будет сложно повредить. Спасибо за просмотр!
