    A beautiful part of the world. I’m amazed how their cars are RHD In the towns but LHD in the countryside!! another video on the vehicle mechanics of Lofoten might be rather interesting😉

    Nice to see Canon put some weight behind this lens! Really makes me excited to see where the M-mount is going. It's only a matter of time before the 32mm f/1.4 is on my M6.

    Really happy to know Canon doesn't ditch the EF-M mount completely. But what annoys me is that this lens doesn't have IS. Too bad, it could be that one workhorse for those EF-M users looking to do serious video works without carrying an EF to EF-M adapter and EF lenses. *sigh

    The portraits at 2:00 are blown out. Even at f1.4 the background isn’t really blurry enough to create pleasing separation.

    Is it worth getting if I already have a 18mm - 150mm for the M50.

    Definitely because it will be much sharper because its not a zoom lens and the bokeh for portriats looks amazing ( the reason is the wide open maximum aperture of f.1.4 )

    That RHD switch to LHD bugs me more then anything else in this episode! What am I missing? Can any one explain, it does appease to be the same Mitsubishi Pajero 4WD (used to have one of those some years ago).

    @@alexsystems2001 Nothing special. In the first shot, they flipped (mirrored) the video in the first shot. Directors do it sometimes for interviews, to get a subject that looked to the left to look to the right and vice versa (to make them fit better with the next/previous person shown). Here they probably just did it because they liked the symmetry better for the "getting into the car" scene. It wont work if there are letters in the image (they will look reversed), but when it's just people and objects it's fine. That's how I know they reversed the first clip (when the upper part of the car is shown), and not later (when the license plate is).

    Just a simple question which has nothing to do with photography. Why did you cover the brand of the wetsuit, but you didn't cover the brand of the jeep???

    Hi just got my 32mm lens yesterday and I feels like the auto focus in video mode becomes slower. Is there any explanation?

  • @CanonEurope

    @CanonEurope

    Hi Peng, AF in video mode is tuned to be smooth and visually pleasing, as the ultra-fast focusing in stills mode tends to be disconcerting in movie.
