Toko means Shop in Indonesian.. They also stick to Indonesian grammar that explains why they put 'Toko' in front instead of after the word gift.. I guess they try to stick to the Indonesian atmospheric theme

IMO this is the best premier universal hotel as it provides good value, theming and proximity to parks. We’re staying here for the express passes which basically pays for the room, then hopping over to the cheaper Aventura Hotel next door when we hit up Volcano Bay. Always happy to see your new posts pop up in my feed…your reviews are very thorough, entertaining and production quality is top notch! ✌️

Am I weird for actually liking this resort More than the Polynesian at Disney?! It’s Definitely cheaper, even if you ARENT taking advantage of the Fantastic Free Universal Express feature (which paid for itself three times over when we stayed there in 2019…gave us two days for four people, which was worth $1500 just for Express, for a room rate of $625 for a really nice room)…Polynesian May have better food, but I liked the actual hotel a bit better (I only got to stay at Polynesian once, however, in 2010 so it might’ve improved a bit…couldn’t say)…Great video as usual!

I think you can make the case, especially with the price. The Poly will always feel like the pinnacle of luxury for me though.

Your videos are so incredibly thorough and helpful! Truly enjoyed watching! Will be staying at Royal Pacific this weekend in a club level room. We stayed at Sapphire Falls last month when we went for Halloween Horror Nights and it was my first time staying on Universal property. I have to say the bar was set high at SF it was a beautiful property but going during such a peak time Express is a must so we had to look at the premier options. I’m looking forward to experiencing this resort!

The public areas are nice and the perks, such as unlimited express pass is nice, the landscaping is great. But I guess I just expected more from the room itself for the price. The room is basically just a regular hotel room found anywhere with a little frill added. . I guess I'd really need to crunch numbers to see if staying here was worth it over the cheaper options. If I could stay at, say, The Aventura, buy my own Express Passes (and Fiji water, since you can buy it for a whole lot less than $7.50! LOL) for less money than it wouldn't be worth it to me to stay at Loews Royal Pacific, especially since I could still come to the bar and restaurants if I chose to. Great review!

Stayed here in 2021... can't recommend it highly enough

Love Royal Pacific but agree about pool. It’s my least favourite pool. We do tend to book longer stays, coming from the west coast but I still think having express pass is good to have. But to save some money on next trip we booked Aventura for first 5 days, then RP for rest of our 2 week trip. Looking forward to returning to RP. Haven’t stayed there in awhile. They were renovating lobby our last stay to put in the food court.

we are staying here for a night, mainly for the express passes. We normally book villas but for the 5 of us an express pass is about £4000!!, a lot cheaper to stay here and you get 2 days of express pass

I don't know why, but when I've "practice booked" ten nights at Universal, at different times of the year, it's always Portofino that is the cheapest of the three... Maybe it's about demand or something. We live in Sweden so if we go it'd be for up to two weeks as the prices for flights etc for a family of four are quite high... 😂 So I've checked different months and weeks when I've planned. Portofino is a longer walk to park not as close as hard rock or RP

Gorgeous video as always! I tried to book this but as someone else noted, Portofino was cheaper -- $200 less for a 4-night stay. I would have loved to stay here, but $200 will pay for several meals instead.

@@TheFrugalBrit I also tried to sign up for the Loew's hotel rewards program and noticed that while the other two premier hotels are listed, Portofino is not, so I have been wondering if it is somehow under different management than the others, and if this is affecting the price. I don't know for sure though. I rely on your channel for vacation planning information even more than many of the local vloggers who live in the area! 🌹

I have been trying to decide which hotels I want to stay for the express passes and hop to a less expensive hotel for the rest of my trip (I will be spending some of my time at Disney and SeaWorld). When I searched yesterday Portofino was cheaper but today it had RP as cheaper 🧐

Is it worth staying for 2 full weeks?? Or better to maybe stay in a aventura for 10/11 days and then move across there royal pacific for 2/3 days instead In the middle of the holiday ??

this isn't the first time I've heard a review mention you can walk to volcano bay from royal pacific, but I cant find a route posted anywhere.

I agree, RP is my least fav pool. But otherwise a great resort. I don’t agree with EP not important for 5+ stays. Even if I’m staying 10 days who wants to wait on hour queues? Our last trip I did a split stay with Sapphire and Portofino. While I loved Sapphire I really missed the EP. Since Sapphire is their Preferred hotel it would be nice if they included EP from 4:00

you have to get normal tickets to get in, but it gives you express fast pass tickets.

I would but it's always booked up.

You can arrive anytime in the morning of check in and they’ll give you the key card for early park admission and express pass,

There’s only one thing I don’t like about this hotel, and it’s that it’s a premier hotel and Sapphire Falls isn’t. I like Sapphire Falls way more, but I also want express passes, so it doesn’t make sense to stay thete

Very confused that the cheap hotels offer a microwave, but the expensive ones make you request one at $15 day🤦🏻‍♀️makes no sense

I stay at Royal Pacific Club Level when ever I vacation to Universal Studios. I've never had a bad time there and have stayed there at least the last 6 times I stayed there. I don't stay at Disney ever. I've never liked Disney. Too crowded and stressful to visit the parks.

They ruined the lobby.
