Hey Lady! Now we know!😝 I was wondering what does wash day look like for you! I wash when my hair tells me she needs it. And she definitely tells me when she needs it. I usually wash once per month in the cool/cold months. I wash every two or three weeks in the warm/hot months. I retwist and interloc each loc as needed. Some locs need a quick retwist or interloc at each wash... some can go a month. Some others can go six to eight weeks. It really all depends. I determine what is needed when I am separating or "popping" my locs after the wash. This individualize attention to each loc and providing what each one needs makes the wash and maintenance days so "easy" for me. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you for sharing! I’m loving these responses. I feel like people are realizing there isn’t one way to treat your hair. We find our perfect routine by trial error and our body naturally tells us exactly what it needs! What size are your locs? Is it traditional or sisterlocks?

@@nattyann Hi. I have about 190 locs. They are small traditional.

I shampoo my locs every 1 to 2 weeks my scalp is used to it if I go longer my scalp is on fire you are right I treat my locs the same as I did when my hair was loose matter of fact in the beginning washing as often as I do helped with the locking process which was only 9 months for my hair
