These are great tips. I’m 6 months in and my approach has been to not care about what others think of me. Maybe it’s because I’ve been natural for over 10yrs now starting with a BC and I’ve done so many things with my hair I already have the mindset of trusting the process. I felt more looked more masculine during that beginning process than my loc journey. Probably because my starter locs are longer and they are micro locs they just look like mini twists. But yeah I just don’t care how I look to other people because I just check my own ego and I’m like I look how I look and accept it. Some people think I look like a super model and some people may think I look like Miss Celie with these budding twists. I just don’t care. I accept the compliment and I reject the criticism 🤷🏽‍♀️

Girl you look beautiful AND feminine. Especially long locks are feminine. To be honest in my opinion long locks look better on women than men.
