I was lucky enough to get a small speaking part in "Iron Will" and to get a ride on #14. Twenty one years later I'm still getting royalty checks from Disney and more importantly I have lots of great memories.
I was fortunate enough to ride behind and in the cab of 14 back in the 90s. Great little Baldwin. CTRR Steve.
Iron Will was an excellent movie. I was fully aware of Number 14. The film crew did an excellent job of blending the locomotive into the scenes.
Great Film

#14 is a 2-8-2 mikado.
Wow
I know that 4449 in in movies
I don't know whether to comment on the videos getting cheesier or getting higher quality. Guess I'll do both. Keep it comin LSRM!
This is just my opinion but 14 needs a new lease on life
I’ve been watching to much car videos when I seen the thumb nail I thought the train was doing a burnout

Ha funny!
I say #14 looks better with a capped chimney. But then again, all steam locos look better with chimney caps.

I didn’t know that that train is in movies
Why didn’t they raise the funds to retube the boiler?
I've never actually heard of this film - was it actually released in GB? Never mind - those are corking runbys.
Alright, question. Why was No. 14 removed from service back in 1998?

In the guide book published by the museum it states that the locomotive required expensive repairs and that a decision was made to focus resources on other projects. The locomotive remains on static display at the museum.

@@tylertollefson2638 Okay, but was there a specific component that needed fixing, like the firebox or running gear, or does that guide book say just that?

@@GrandCanyonStudios844 the firebox is BO. I also noticed that the throat sheet is welded to the side sheet because of cracking around the rivets that join the two. The boiler is just plain wore out.

@@GrandCanyonStudios844 it was given a cosmetic restoration back in 2015 or so and looks wonderful now.

@@wwtf7180 The locomotive basically needs a brand new boiler in order to run again. Got it.
