I`ve been a powermesh user since it came out.... i`ve done plenty of things with it.... but i`ve suffered a lot with it as well.... When i found out about this, i tested it and i couldnt believe how amazingly simple and user friendly this is...... you kept this simple but useful, and very powerful. It has been able to solve lots of things the other software couldnt solve with all its glare and shine. Congratulations on a job well done.

I wanted to say that I love the plug-in! It's genius. The only gripe about this video was that as someone coming back for a refresher, now that a client needs it again, I wish you had prefaced the first 1:30 with "I'm going to show you the fast way first, but it's not the right way." I ended up getting frustrated with things not working after watching the beginning of the video. This was after a long day and quitting AE a few times (not your fault at all, I was just tired) but I came back and watched the entire video again and it made more sense. Just trying to throw in some constructive criticism. Again, wonderful plug-in and I really appreciate all the work put into it!

Why is my graphic not sticking to the points.. I have it in the stabilized composition.

Hi, is it possible to transfer tracking data into mesh wraps or nulls?

What i dont understand is, when you go to stabalize view, why is it just showing that paticaluar part of the Rhino.. Why not the Head? as you did put a tracking marker on the EYE too. so my question is what if i wanted to put something on the head like a graphic later. how do i pic that??? is does only pick what it can stabalise?

Can I use tracked points to export to 3ds max?

Hi Chris. Bought Lockdown over the weekend and am diving into it. Well cool so far. Forgive me if this is answered anywhere else. Is it possible to render out the background stabilised comp by itself. I've come up with some rad effects just flipping things around and it would be cool to export them. Or is it possible to invert the selection you've meshed out. Hope that makes sense. Cheers from Brisbane. Waz.

You can make the stabilized layer renderable by making it not a guide layer. Then you can render inside the stabilized composition. theres no method to invert the mesh however, but you could use expansion points to grow the mesh wider than what you've been able to track. Sorry for the delay, I'm on like 15 different messages platforms and sometimes comments slip through the cracks. I do best with official help tickets!

Hello, may I ask why the alpha channel and color have changed after using the lock down plugin

00:18 In the new version of After Effects (2022) do these points not appear? Or do they need to be enabled separately in the settings? I do not see them.

The points are created by control clicking, or control click and dragging around an area. If that doesn't happen, there's some sort of problem. Also, it has to be done in the popout, not in ae canvas.

What do you do if the area isn't quite large enough and the object is being cut off slightly? can we extend the area, even though it has not been tracked?

mesh not created after selecting area

Don't know why, but the points move alm over the place and it doesn't seem to be able to track a point

It can depend on a lot of factors, feel free to send in a help ticket and I can take a look at the footage.

I can't even create tracking points, what gives? I updated to the most current version but the problem has been going on for weeks.

Could you create a help ticket, and send us a log? kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2F2k6iRh8uTmrA.html Just open Lockdown, attempt to create points, and then send the log file. Also, are you trying to create points within the Ae interface, or in the popout? All interactions must be done in the popout, we've removed all interactions from the Ae interface.

Buy the plugin and use the license to remove the grid watermark

I just downloaded the trial of Lockdown, and there's no track points when you pop out, and drag a selection. I must be missing something, surely!?

When you control click and drag, is the lasso blue? It should be. If its yellow its an input issue. Control/apple click and drag will make a blue lasso to create points. Not using a key and clicking and dragging will make a yellow lasso selection. A lot of times a user had this issue, some other app like a video game is minimized and for whatever reason that prevents control/apple from being read by Lockdown. Restarting you pc usually fixes it.

I keep getting a white screen when i hit popout.

This is very likely an issue with gpu drivers. Please try to update your graphics card drivers, and update to the latest version of After Effects CC.

It shouldn't change, but there have been a lot of updates to After Effects lately that manage color space. If you see something strange, please send in a help ticket with a screen capture, system specs, and project file.
