most times, you can find a leak by -pumping up the tube -hold the tube near your face, rotate the tube -if it's quiet, you'll hear it; otherwise, you'll feel it as you move the tube around -use a marker and draw a patch-sized circle around the hole

Wow 9 months and no replies, here let me help. Walmart has a product "Slime Seven Piece Bike Inner Tube Patch Kit-1022-A"

That's all well and good, but I tried that and I'm getting no air bubbles even though my tire deflated overnight. My suspicion is that I got a bad batch of inner tubes and the stems themselves are leaking on a couple.
