Welcome to Episode 2 of Locals Only, hosted by Richmond local, Sam Noel. Episode 2 focuses on the mountain biking accessible around Cochran's in Richmond, Vermont, specifically biking from the Bivo office in town. While Cochran's is mostly known for some of the most fun local, small-hill skiing in the winter, the MTB scene in the Spring-Fall packs a punch. We primarily stuck around the Prayer Flag zone, ripping the trails on the way down. In typical New England fashion, the uphill proved long and rooted, and the downhill had some fun tech and flow sections. The big takeaway from the day was the expanse of the trail systems in and around Richmond. Big shoutout to all the groups that take of these trails. We barely scratched the surface of what's out there in the area, so let's just say we will be back.
