Local Nepali Woman Does Something Unexpected to me🇳🇵

We visit one of the most sacred places in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath Temple is a place where Hinduists from all over Nepal and India arrive to find shelter for the last several weeks of their lives, to meet death, be cremated on the banks of the river and travel their last journey with the waters of the sacred river Bagmati, which later meets the holy river Ganges. We are grateful we had the chance to experience this place as it was heavy on our hearts. Along the way we ran into a lady who put something unexpected on me as part of the culture. ❤️ We also got to enjoy the monkeys playing around the temple. A day we will never forget!

Love the vlog! thank you for visiting Nepal! loving your vlogs. @12:24 she's giving you and your partner a blessing- "safe travels to all your journey, life filled with peace and happiness, may god protect you and your family, may all of your family member have peaceful and healthy life." It was really nice of you to tip her. Don't think she was doing it for money. the bracelet she put on you is an amulet for protection and blessings. Hope you visit Nepal again and go Pokhara too!

21:04 Like Chase. When I was in Nepal. I used to go there with my bike sometimes with friend sometime alone for the peace of mind. And I used to watch all those things happening around the temple and couldnot stop myself getting emotional and sometime crying. Sending love to you both specially chase. He looks sensitive guy like me. Currently I'm here in Canada studying engineering since a year. And the Nepalese dhaka topi looks so good on you chase. And for shelby, you will be shocked if you get to know after translating what "that women in red" in temple who decorated your forehead 12:32 and chanted mantras for you. You will be so happy. Takecare

Pashupatinath is temple for Shiva - Hindu Deity of destruction 🙏 The reason destruction is superior to creation is coz there can’t be creation with out destructing your ego, anger, list, the animal nature in the self etc … and discovering the inner self the inner nature of your soul !! 🙏🙏 In Hinduism, God or the true nature is within you not out in the sky .. and your goal in life is to discover that true nature.. shiva also means “that which is not” - shiva represents everything that you can not perceive with your external or internal eyes .. 🙏🙏 His mantra is - OM NAMAH SHIVAYA; Om-Soul; Na-Earth; Mah-Water; Shi-Fire; Va-Air; Ya-Space, to balances elements in our body.

It's believed that visiting the main chamber of pashupati nath temple you get rid of bad karma and you get reborn as a human being but there's a giant sitting bull made out of brass in front of main Shiva lingam if you happen to see the face of the brass bull before seeing the Shiva lingam it's inebittable for you to get any other birth other than an animal after your death ❤
