Lovely area that and a great ride out. Was up past Kendal Easter week and it was a washout weatherwise. All the video footage I got was very nice views mountains and Rain, Rain, Rain. But still enjoyed the ride all the same I was wrapped up well. Will return when the weather gets a little better. Great Channel, Thanks for sharing those great roads. Cheers

I am wondering if it will ever stop raining. But being on a bike even in the rain is good for the soul

I lived in Leyburn for years and regularly used these roads and always finding new ones.Ideal for my classic bikes.I'm in NZ now and so miss the Dales and all the wee roads around there.I could ride from Leyburn to Preston on these roads without touching an A road or motorway.Good times---apart from the weather LOL.

I follow the channel A Brit, A Blonde and A Bike, they ride around New Zealand and it looks epic. Have you relocated or just there for work?

Definitely my type of roads either on my bike or love the challenge in our Campervan, six metre so no real issues just a bit of give and take with a touch of common.

The campervan would be a real challenge on some of those roads as they have few passing places. You are a brave man.

@@upnorthbiker That’s what it’s about my friend, a challenge, did the NC500 without issues, one of the best and difficult roads we drove over was in Scotland on the way to Oban we found a road to the Crinnan Canal, 20 miles of the narrowest but scenic roads we have yet to find more of a challenge, ride safe and looking forward to seeing more on your channel.
