@@rho992 Perahara is religious festival of buddhists in Sri Lanka. It can't be said it is a festival 100% . Because it is beyond entertainment. In this month Kandy has the biggest perahara. It is going about 2 weeks. You can find video footages if you search as 'Kandy Perahara' on youtube. For furthur details you can google and get a simple idea.

I visited India on Buddhist pilgrim....stayed 12 days in uttar pradesh and Lumbini in Nepal..... traveled Colombo to Delhi via Mumbai by Jet airways.... It was nice trip in India..... yes welcome to my Paradise with your family..

all sides of Sri Lanka are bright kid. Sri Lanka has a cleanliness index comparable to that of SINGAPORE and MALAYSIA!!! Sri lanka's crime rate is lower than that of Sweden. Sri Lanka has the highest GDP per capita in the South Asian region, only second to Maldives(which is not a fair comparison considering a majority of its GDP consist of foreign players)

Srilanka was a one my liked countries, my impression is getting much better each time now. Feel sad for the crisis but they will bounce back. In India too, in some parts Golgopa is called paani poori. Will wait for next vlogs , Paramvir.

Paramveer you are such a nice and simple chap, hence you meet nice people every where. Sri Lanka is no exception. I have been to Sri Lanka when everything was normal. I found it just like an Indian South Indian state with wonderful people. Food and cotton clothes were very cheap ( and still is )

I visited India and Sri Lanka. There is a big difference between the two peoples in India. Most people try to take advantage of the tourists. Many people are humble and welcoming. On the other hand, such as street food, the level of cleanliness is 3 out of 10 .... As for Sri Lanka, I visited the northern and southern regions, I visited some popular neighborhoods I also ate from street food and met many people. The people are humble, welcoming, and friendly. The people have a culture of hygiene, unlike the Indian people. Do not think that I insult the Indian people. I just pass like what I saw, and I respect the Indian people. Villagers doesn't have 90% of problems we have in colombo. Vegetables free or cheap. No rent. No need gas they use wood for cook.

Villagers are lucky bro. All people wish they could live in a rural area where there is no need of cooking gas or cerosin and vegetables are cheaper.

My Dua for the Srilankan people to get rid of the present crisis. They are very humble and amazing. They try to help others always even though they are facing many problems. We the Indian should make a relationship with our neighbour countries as we are lacking this.
