Local clusters are now supported on Amazon EKS on Outposts, allowing you to run the entire Amazon EKS cluster locally on Outposts. This architecture allows you to mitigate the risk of application downtime that can result from temporary network disconnects to the cloud, such as those caused by fiber cuts or weather events.
