79 is a good amount. I think people ask how Manny locs people have because I've seen people with a thin 80 and then I've seen people with a thick 80. So it just depends on your hair and how you start your journey. Everyone's journey is different.

Which method do you think is best? I started with 66 coil starter locs, I want thick full locs but not too thick for a style. I have 4c type hair.

I woulda guessed more locs on your head!!! Thats a great numbers. I have 197! Discovered during the intimate installation days that I have a range from 3B to 4C hair in different areas of my head! I couldn't believe it! Thought I was 100 percent 4C. Anyway, because of the different grades, areas are locking faster, some areas much slower, and all areas locking differently. But this adding to my loc uniqueness! 😁 Certainly adds to the part of the self discovery and self acceptance and self love of this journey. Its all GOOD!

I recently started minez and i have 102 locs and also started them with two strand twists ❤😊

I have 21 locs and im almost 6yrs loc'd..8/6/24💜

It seems to me that the question, “How many locs do you have,” is viewed the same way as the question, “How old are you?” Some people are very sensitive and others just view it as just a number.
