But as we grew there is a realization that those were just crushes, and you have to travel a long way to get true love. Anyway, this song still touches the chords of my heart to this day. I have this song and "Boo" on a POP playlist via my YT Account and only tonight I recall singing along with this song when I was a child. Your song and "Boo" were in heavy rotation on Top 40 radio back then and if my memory is correct it was in the car whenever my parents did their errands. I would sing along with this song without any shame which is amazing since I was a very shy boy. Incredible melodic composition and I hope you are still writing songs with the same careful attention to melodic craftsmanship as you did back then.
