There are two key reasons for this..... back then songs had grand melodies, and superb arrangements.

Lobo ..one of the hidden treasures among singers.. one of the very best voices...so soothing

This was a wonderful time in history when people truly loved each other men respected ladies and on another note Men did not call ladies bro or dude lack of absolute disrespect

As a kid my mom would listen to the radio and would sing this song and seen how much she enjoyed it. She passed away 2 years ago and heard this song again for the first time in decades and got goosebumps. If she was her now I would sing along with her.

So many people over look this guy but he was a true megastar having hit after hit. Still a huge star in places like Norway, England and Australia just from the records he had in the 70's. One other huge aspect of the 70's was K-tel Records if you remembered them getting 20 hits on one record Album was a huge thing and Lobo's Record's were on almost every K-tel Album and made K-tel Records millions of dollars. Lobo was indeed a huge star but not ever given his do. Its a huge star and a huge hit that you can listen to this record three times in.a row as I just did. Lobo really is a Superstar.

Sweet lady it's never too late to get it back if you dig deep inside your soul. I left my youth and innocence and most of my joy when in Vietnam. Suffered the pain most my life and now within a year or so dug deep inside of myself now that I sit alone nights and after all the years I'm starting to feel joy again so you see it's never to late even if it's being alone as I now am.

I was a kid in the 70s traveling with my folks and siblings all over in a station wagon. At least it wasn't still in the crate (those fake wooden side panels... You know what I'm talking about. Don't lie!). Listening to all that music, all those bands! Music then was so very cool, comforting, wild and crazy all at once! The absolute load of all that creativity was given to all of us! An absolute stunning time to be alive!
