The SA Hip-hop scene is really experiencing a renaissance right now. Where now people can really be themselves and express themselves musically in any way. There's a lane for everyone. Now people make music in vernac because they want to not because they have to for people to listen. Others can make straight up rap stuff. Others are make piano fused hip-hop. It's just beautiful to watch. It's very encouraging to see being a zimbabwean. Our scene is still young but if they did it in SA to get to where it is now, I'm confident we can do it too. People like Loatinover inspire us everyday to always be in the grind.
