This album has connected to me in so many ways - every note, effect, synth, sample evokes very specific emotions, physical sensations and memories, making them fit the sound of this masterpiece perfectly. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing or going through at the moment, putting this album on makes me feel things that I didn’t even know were there. It’s like I’m being folded inwards that way I can see much more and the music just points and reveals new things. It amplifies memories that were already there, making them all so vivid and real - it’s like I’m still there, I never left. I can feel everything - the temperature, textures of things, the wind.
