Anyone who doesn't clearly see that the LOADpro is far superior to a power probe, VoltPRO or test light, doesn't understand how the tool is used or perhaps how electricity works. This guy made an awesome tool and is an awesome teacher. I'm glad I bought this tool and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Keep up the good work bud!

Daniel, I have your book and your Load Pro. Simply the best electrical book out there! Haters are going to hate, you worked you ass off to develop this tool. The voltmeter reads battery voltage but doesn't need battery voltage to operate. The other tools need to be connected to the battery, in order to read the battery, or they don't work at all. A mirror doesn't need electricity to see your reflection - a video camera does. I can use the voltmeter anywhere on a vehicle to read voltage - but I don't need to hook it to the battery. It's pretty simple. Keep reading.

You should probably mention that while a dmm doesn't need system voltage of the equipment your working on, it does indeed need/have a battery (primarily as a reminder I guess). Without it the meter, and load pro as well, are useless. I've seen plenty of guys waste hours on a diagnosis just to end up being low/corroded batteries in their meter. If you end up on a road service and forgot to pack spare batteries, you're SOL. I don't understand the reason for the comparison either. Aside from reading voltage the power probe and load pro doesn't share any other functions of one another.....or do they? I don't even know what that third tool was you were comparing so I'll refrain from comment on it. I do own a power probe and it is awesome for most things but it doesn't load test circuits. I got a light that pulls approx 3.5 amps for that. I've been strongly considering getting a load pro just for a little more simplicity, hence what lead me here. In reference to your comment in the video about poking wires, it's never a good idea to pierce a wire but there are times when it is unavoidable and it should only ever be implemented as an absolute last resort. Make sure to seal the poke hole up when you're finished.

Nice tool. Never speak from a point of resentment. Never speak about other products. Any publicity is good publicity. The human attention span is short. If they clicked here, then feed them positive, uplifting and fun information about your product. Always compliment other products if they are good. Briefly. Keep up the good work don't give up. Be real and talk about your love for tools and innovation and make people like you. Talk of serving customers, helping technicians and a job well done.

I bought the load pro a few weeks ago. My time locating the bad spots in circuits has dropped dramatically. I found a wire with heavy resistance in a starter relay circuit that would have had me chasing my tail just days before, found it in minutes. My boss has 20+ years experience over me and he chose the power probe and suggested I invest in one as well. Not being the sharpest at electrical I researched for a long time before choosing the Load Pro. Very happy I did. Now if I can just get my boss to believe it works. P.S. bought the FET book with it-great combination, really helping me improve my electrical diagnostic abilities.

+Steed “Still Hunter 69” Andersen Go to my channel, I have videos on there showing real world finds using the load pro. That should convince him. It's a awesome tool. Been using it since 2009.

All three are valid tools for diagnosis. Using your head for what is needed to correctly and efficiently preform the diagnosis is the first thing.

The only issue is when you get a false reading on a test and you go to the next step you have already failed

As a retired industrial electrician and electronic technician of many years you are a great teacher and a great inventer of this tool. I have dealt with alot of circuit voltage drops in my time and I bought this tool only because I believe in you and in your great product. I have used it and it's one of the best tools ever. This tool is not just for automotive but any circuits of up to 28 volts AC or DC.

Love my load-pro. I'm not a professional mechanic and this tool has proved to be every bit as easy to use as advertised!! Saved me a lot of time and money!! Thanks Dan for a great tool!

I ordered this tool through my Snap On Truck, albeit under the Blue Point brand, my dealer took 3 weeks to get it in as it came from the US on special order, he told me he’s never sold one before or since, he has two trucks covering a huge area, simpliest tool, fool proof and it works..!! Thank you Mr Sullivan.

I purchased your LoadPRO test leads and your probe kit. I am a heavy equipment mechanic. LoadPRO saves me a LOT of TIME! It has found a bad/internally corroded battery cable lug, a bad starter relay, and a bad heater blower switch. But, most of the time it does not find anything wrong, and that's where it is most useful to me. Because I have no dead ends to diagnose! I can simply replace the part and be done knowing the battery, wiring, fuses, and switches are not the problem.

Top tool dan, its been a great asset to me in the 10 months I've had it. I left the military after 8 years as a mechanic and still struggled on the basic electrics. After a little bit of learning and then finding this tool its been great. I try telling everyone who will listen how great it is and how much its saves. Sometimes feels like I'm banging my head against wall when their still testing with a test light or the old power probe with green/ red LEDs

Dan' I'm a fleet Mechanic with over 25+ years in the field!! (YES) i have a LoadPro and use it on EVERYTHING!!!.. I show this tool off all the time to new people and it only takes that (One) time that i prove it to the new guy why i use this tool over any thing.. Yes I'm what people call the go to guy when it comes to fixing electrical trouble.. Heck" if a had one of your LoadPro banners i would have it over my tool box.

Yeah mann, I'm definitely a auto technician now, I'm showing off on guys that proclaimed they know it all. I get the job done faster than ever, thanks to the investor, Daniel, lode pro is my best money maker, hahaha.

This is a great tool and very handy to be able to load the circuit at the push of a button. There are other ways to load a circuit of course but this is an easy convenient way to do so. Kudos to you for coming up with the idea!

Jeff - Thanks for your comments and wishes. It's been a long, hard road going solo for 13 years, but if you've kept up with me you know I don't quit. It's awkward for me because I like certain features of your tool, but everyone ignored me because they said my tool was "just another powerprobe". I really wish we could work together to solve this diagnostic problem.Too many guys really need help and the future will really be miserable if guys aren't brought up to speed. I took your FET training class at Kokosing in 2008 i believe, It was the best training i have ever had, I now own a repair business of my own, and Load pro leads are the only thing allowed on a electrical repair. I have been called out to help other shops when their guys have a issue, and i always instruct them toward your book, and leads. Hi Dan, great Video and tool, you are correct in what you say, here in the UK I teach motor vehicle technology, and before that I worked for Landrover for 20 years. I refer my students to your video's. Keep it up, the good work, and pay no attention to what others say. An auto electrican here in the UK recommened your probe, he used his all the time, infact it has become his main diagnostic tool for wiring fault finding.

Hi Dan! So sorry for your grief! You have a great tool! I don't use mine much as I am welder first. But when I need it after some times weeks it works when I plug it in. You have made a great contribution to the industry! So some day it will be recognised for what it is. You have done all you can so sit back and relax! As my dad used to say a difference of opinion is what makes a horse race and the best hose doesn't always win.

I bought this tool and use it all the time, it works great and identifies electrical issues very fast if you use it correctly. Daniel, I sincerely hope that you sell a million of them and reach the American dream.

After 15 years in the business and cars getting more electrically dependent I ordered this tool as soon as I saw it. It will be a blessing over light bulbs and wires strung everywhere.

Hi Dan I bought my first loadpro in 2015 and used it so much it was a game changer . I'm on my second loadpro .well done what an invention.

I just happened on this channel and i am an electronic engineer. I see easily the real true value on the diagnostic side of this tool. Before i give too much feedback i am going to test it as well, i am sure my findings will be as good as described and can not wait to try it. I also was a semi mechanic/ heavy equipment mechanic for over 23 years and it just makes sense to me as he describes!! Wow i must have just got out of being a mechanic and then going to college to get my engineers degree when you put this on the market, i sure could have used this product and saved me tons of hours tracking down problems!!

You are definitely NOT an electronics engineer my friend. Any engineer or electronics amateur would definitely know how this tool fundamentally works. I'll give you a hint on the two main components that make up the probe- switch and _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. It's a year too late but better late than never.....

I buy this tool , a year ago from the Snap on truck, and it is the best, !!! Congrats Sullivan! !!

Let me tell you one thing thank you this idea is amazing I think everyone that's doubted you simply doesnt know or understand electrical analysis as a certified master tech this tool is simply non replaceable by ANY other testing equipment of 10 times its price keep up the good work and license it before it's too late

the theory approach to the problem with the great tool ruling out 66% of the possible faults in an instant is impressive enough. the 80% of the entire problem originate from crossroads of wirings with ease of diagnosing it is everything. your are an engineer teacher sir!

Daniel, first off I can a big fan. I have both the Load Pro and one of your books. I use my load pro on my Power Probe. I recreated this same test on a gasoline engine and I was able to see a voltage drop using the Power Probe by hitting the button to see battery voltage and then testing the connection at the plug and finding .3 volts less. I then did what I always do and connected the Load Pro to the Power Probe and tested with the Load button and with the 500mv load I got 9.7v. As a note I really wish that you would make the Load Pro II with banana jacks so that I can use all of my Fluke adapters, (mainly my back Probe pins). I would certainly be one of your first customers for one.

I have all those tools in my box.But I use your tool( loadpro) all the times and the other two collecting dust . Like you said Loadpro is more precise , no limitation and easier to use and I love it. Thank you and merry Christmas

Just bought you leads and book. Appreciate your educational videos on auto electrical, It has been a big help. Newer cars, truck and tractors have gotten a lot more complicated since I worked for GM and Ford. You would put yourself in a better light to lose the chip and attitude. Great video... Mr Sullivan Going to purchase one... As an Electrical Engineer I understand the need to be efficient in my work... I do residential electrical repairs and mods in the homes and started customizing vehicles (wiring systems) and found loadpro to be a excellent product.... I also started working ( troubleshooting) automotive and going to be using your product. Second, started doing KZread videos and going to use your product ( per your promission) in my vehicle videos .. ( if I could only use this in my residential videos, lol)... Great product.....forget the dislikes .... Keep up the of work....

Dan , I just diagnosed this exact scenario on a Cummins ISX and found corrosion in the very connector you are testing. I solved an intermittent fault that had plagued a customer for months. I have the original Teslight and Load Pro. I have saved several customers from needlessly replacing ECMs on Cat engines. Most don't realize the difference between voltage and current. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant bit of kit I've had mine about for about 2wks and today they paid for themself. Saab 9-3 no fuel pump. I had 12v at the pump but it still didnt work, hit the button and it went down to 1.2v traced the wire back to a plug under the bat tray that was green with corrosion. Using these leads gave me the confidents to say the fault was in the power side and in turn saved me time, and the customer money. Another garage had already put a pump in it because they thought it had + and -.

I bought the tool and the book and i am amazed with what it does, To bad I’ve been straggling for years without it if I would’ve known that this tool existed five years ago it would’ve saved me thousands of dollars and many headaches, thanks mr Sullivan for this invention, it really will save the mechanics and customers a lot of money and time.

Your colonial twang is no problem,you speak good easy to understand simple english. have not read all the book yet and do have questions but will try and workout myself first. Only question i will ask at this point is that having read the instruction manual supplied with the loadpro, the test procedure to test the tool states that i should see 25ohms resistance, i am seeing 25.6ohms. Is this ok?

Daniel i bought this tool with your electrical book best 100 bucks i have ever spend it amazing.

You invented this over 7 years ago and currently Cummins recommends using it for diag on their engines for a few years now.

Fantastic presentation Dan !! I am lost for words trying to understand why anyone could not see how it works. I think you should have mentioned as well that the other testers only use battery ground and not circuit ground because in my experience I find more circuit grounds with high resistance that circuit power wires. This is by far the best vid. showing the capabilities of your tool. I use it all the time. Keep showing the other tools because it makes yours look real good.

is this tool safe to use on a sensor circuit that has both the 5v feed and the earth supplied by ECM? or will the cables have to be tested individually ?

Hi Dan, I dont know if you read these at this point in time, but it is now April 2018 and I purchased your Load Pro kit with manual and your Electrical Training Cars system and they are GREAT !

I've been using this tool for years I just ran across this video it's amazing that not too many people know about it this is the way to go now I just use a Milwaukee 12 volt with a couple jumpers to load anything cool tool bro big kicker now they're like 50 bucks I spent almost $200 on it back in the day.

I bought a loadpro but was unable to really use it at first because tips were too dull to penetrate the wire. I sharpened them and now it works great.

Dan I'm a master mechanic for kia and I've been using load pro for three years and it is great, don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

👍👍 I own this tool and use it along with the voltage drop test method. I find that the tool and voltage drop testing is a very accurate and definitive way of testing electrical circuits. (Simple, quick, easy and reliable)

I started working for cummins 2.5 years ago as a green horne..i needed to load some wires in a harness one day and a buddy said to try his load pro instead of hooking a bulb into play and it worked so effortlessely and ive used one ever since to diagnos issues..great tool with this i actually find no use for a power probe

Dan ,this test you have done is very clear to understand (i am a novice) been looking at learning some electrical trouble shooting .For me your tool is perfect.I love how clear it is and that it fits any DVM and you are not tied to a car battery or have to have a spare battery.The power probe looks good for applying voltage etc but does not do what the load pro can do !! shame power pro could not have got with you and incorporated both together some how .I think volt pro looks crap and cheap.

I support you Dan.. Anyone that understands the relationship between voltage, current and resistance in a circuit should easily be able to see that this a great diagnostic tool. Most of all it saves time and money if you are skilled and know how to use it correctly. Awesome too is all I can say that wont break the bank.

5V and 8V references voltages are fine. The Blue-Point Leads are ours. We're working on some lead tip kits. Thanks for the comment. Have a great Christmas. DS

Nice stuff. Greatly enjoyed the tutorials. The concept (and value) of voltage drop will not be recognized people without basic electrical knowledge. The concepy of the IR drop is essential to understanding what is happenning. The mechanic today has to have some basic electrical theory to effectively troubleshoot. I loved your comments on the training manuals!

Why in the heck am I just hearing about this? This will work with my multimeter without fighting with a stupid 25ft. cord and it's more functional.

I'm getting this tool. It's going too be a time saver. So much faster than loading the Circuit with a headlight. I think if the inventor would tell people it was a headlight test with the push of a button,anybody who does diagnostics would buy one.
