Another great video. Hope Pa did good on the steer sale. Tiffany is one beautiful sweetheart. Always great to see her pop in for an appearance. God Bless.
Two of my favorite guys to watch.

Three. My apologies Jeff.
Thank you Cole and Dad Brian for sharing everything.Great job on loading the steers.God bless you all.
Need a squeege for your Bobcat, or a sump pump for the grain bunker. Glad you guys got the rain you desperately needed. Hay bale record this year.
The St. Francis of the cattle industry, even the steers loading are calm! Just can’t get over it! 👏👏👏👏
Hope Brian did great on selling the steers. The life of a farmer, one year its dry and the next to wet. I couldn't do it and admire the ones that can. Without these farmers we would be a hungry bunch.
Hey Cole, you could chisel out a 1/2 inch groove and hole at the back of that pit to drain the water out the back.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Chisel a Grove and drill a hole under or through the side. Might have to clean it out with your foot once in awhile
I just heard "Don't Close your eyes" this past week for the first time, then you pick it Brian. Good song, didn't know he had passed long ago. Thanks for the information.
Brian you are so cool, ill bet there are numerous kids that wish you were their dad!! Good job guys 💪. Keep up the good work 💪👍.
🎵oooe that sound of mud from hooves in the mud 🎶hear the cash register ring🎶 Great to see all the GREEN and moisture to spare . We never (ya’ll too) complain about rain ever cause as Brian said this weeks drought is over … we’ll see bout next week then . Steers looked good hopefully $$$$ good. Ya’ll have a blessed week up there Cole
That was a lot of cows that got sold. Looks like Cole was having fun working the ground. Another great video keep up the good work
Great flik. When you were tilliing, I was watching the way the earth came off the disks. Interesting. When the camera was above the implement, some times it would break up nicely, that was good. Some times it would sling across the top and all over, that was MUD. Other times the open water would rinse off the disks. Pretty interesting, the different actions there. And ALL at the mercy of mother nature; Thanks again guys for letting me come along here. I really enjoy it. I'd love to play with all the toys, but there are too many rules to really have fun at it. Thanks guys.
Thanks for sharing
excellent work Cole and Brian
Thank you Sonne farms!!!
That's a real truck driver he's been backing up a lot I have been in some places that if you didn't know how to back up you were in trouble I backed down a road in south Florida one time with flags on the slides of the road because it was under about 8inchs of water but when it's time to move cows you move them and that was with a 46ft pot but back then that was a top of the line trailer but God Bless Y'all and let your dad take a break every now and then he is working to hard you need to take over the heavy work let buy and sale and Rock and Roll
Well done again Gentlemen 180 steers loaded different ways bred , but all like Peas in a Pod !! Some show of fed cattle Regards Brian Dawson Edinburgh Scotland 😎
GREAT footage from the tiller. My Grandpa and I used to fish in the Jim river near Gayville. I used night crawlers for bait. He used M80s.
That middle aged man was the original Artisan They named a well after him

Another great video. Lots of moisture
We were out moose hunting in northern Alberta. We were delayed by an October snowfall. We turned on the furnace when we got back and we heard a terrible noise. We had to use an electric heater and our gas propelled generator. When we got back to Calgary, the price was $250 to remove a mouse from the furnace fan. I understand that the RV tech had more to take apart.
Awesome song of the day Brian, "Don't close your Eyes, by Keith Whitley". This rain coming in off and on can give us headaches, but it is better than a drought, nice problem to have. Good luck on the planting, hope you have some success. Thanks and have a nice evening.
Nice to see you have green stuff this spring. Last yr was pretty sad to see. Looking forward to seeing the alfalfa progress and baking videos
Farming is quite the career. Just the other day you wanted to fertilize before a rain. I'd say that the fertilizer is fully activated. 😃
All that rain makes my day. I haven't cut my yard yet this year since it's NO MOW MAY to help feel the pollinators. Way better then being in a drought. Hope you get the seed in and get a great crop.
Someone stealing the asparagus in the fence row was one thing that made my Mother upset.
Good day gentlemen there were some nice-looking steers you sold. You mentioned Keith Whitley it was 30 years ago last week he passed away from alcohol poisoning what a lost. I had a little corgi dog named foxy boy did I love her , They are so smart.Take care always be safe.😅
Omgoodness 😂 Thanks for sharing ! I think the Hamsters finally rubbed off on the wild😂 it looked like the mice were trying to exercise in the wheel❤
Cole lol shaking it twice!!!!
Nice to see you taking good care of that little puppy unlike another KZreadr a while back 👍
Super nice steers…..Love the song of the day…..One of my favorites…..Ellie and Sonny having a great day playing…..Ellie loves the company…..That big bull is quite a beautiful site!!!!He looks majestic standing..posing for the picture…..Cattle prices are really good right now….Those cows loving that lush grass…..Another great video….See ya soon..
Your son always shows so much humility in his videos I sure do enjoy watching his videos he is always so informative and gives a lot of great tips. Your son is pretty awesome.
Some mighty handsome bovines there, good work, guys!
I have some fond and not so fond memories of small town street dance’s also Cole. After few years/decades a person looks back and thinks why did I do that and amazed you are still alive!😂 You might need a tracker for that little boy Sonne in case he gets lost in the tall grass! 🤣
Cole went to touch that spinning cage and I was yellin' at the screen, 'I wouldn't touch that if I was y'all...' lol
That is a nice looking bull you got ther cole
Your setup for moving and sorting cattle is fantastic. You make it look so easy. 😊
There is an art to finishing cattle out! Not everybody can do it or has the patience all the bill to the stay with it All the way to finish! We are just about done with crops here first time around lol. We escaped rain last night

Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms!!!
HI FROM GLASCO KS SONNE FARMS 😊
Love that song. Love that voice.
Thanks and GOD BLESS 😀
You need a few barn cats to help with the mice problems 🐈⬛🐈 Best wishes from England UK 🇬🇧
Another great video! Coud be a dumb suggestion but maybe you can have that pit pump-jacked to raise the back of it so it drains properly? We pump-jack our sidewalks and driveways when they settle wrong. Fresh asparagus, yum!
Hi Tiffany fresh veggies enjoy & stay safe Cole and Tiffany
Try drilling a hole at the back of the bunk for water to drain. Find the lowest point next to the wall.
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable. Lots of rain you have been receiving-wow. I noted your cattle lots are pretty deep with mud and some standing water. Hang in there!!!!!’ Been there done that. Hard to work in those conditions plus hard on the animals. You managed to load out 180 head of your cattle for sale. I trust you did well Brian at the sale barn. Your cattle looked real nice size wise. You always do well feeding them out for sale. You are an excellent cattle feeder always. Nice going. Good job Cole doing tillage on your new ground you got to rent. Doing tillage on the wet areas will sure help it dry out that is for sure. You are doing great on your new ground. Hopefully you can plant soon if it drys out. Fingers crossed. Oh my goodness-a chewed up mouse in the heater fan blade-wow!!!!! Not the best smell around plus cleaning up the fan blades. Oh my!!!!! Good job done!!!!’ Super song Brian. Keith had a beautiful voice, passed away too soon in life. Sad. Tiffany you found some good wild stems in the grass. Watch out for the barbed wire fence. Ouch!!! Sonny is sure growing. Big eater on his food. Cute young man!!!!! About it I guess. Hopefully the ground will dry up for you so you can get the planter going. Hang in there Brian and Cole. Thanks for everything. You take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I can't believe how green everything is around your place. This is really going to help the water table. A nice camera placement and perspective on the disk.
Nice looking cattle. Nice looking new ground
Good show today ! 👍 I hope all the big winds I'm seeing on the weather channel are staying away from you guys. 🙏
Hey Cole and Brian and the women we have been getting blasted with rain the last 3-4 weeks and it has rained 7 Sundays in a row as we had plenty of fog in January through March And now yesterday we got hail and golf ball size for 25 minutes, I can see the premiums going high and crop a disaster as bad as the weather conditions have been. For rain by Sanborn Iowa we've had over 11 inches of rain in the last 10 days.
thanks for selling the beef and filling up the food. chain
I love watching your videos, they are so informative about everything ❤️🙏🏼🥰😊🐶🐶
Looks like the ground you were tilling up is good rich soil. I realize it was alittle wet. But looked like it worked up good.
It sure is a muddy mess there. Hope Brian makes a ton of money so he can take Tami on another well deserved trio. Our asparagus was great this year, to bad it only grows wild for a few weeks. God bless and be safe.
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Es fundamental apoyar a los pequeños agricultores y ganaderos. Ellos son la columna vertebral de nuestra economía rural y necesitan acceso a recursos, financiación y mercados para prosperar.
Green pastures are a blessing.. and sonny
More pup please! 😂 Thanks for the videos!
Nice to see you are getting moisture like the rest of us
Look at all that green!!!! Glad for you.
Awesome job loaded cattle truck's love cattle truck's
Thanks for the video!
Another Great episode of Sonne Farms. Good to see a Great Harvest of steers. Looked like a Good yield this year. Mrs. Sonne Beautiful as ever. Cole, I don't think driver hurts his neck. He uses his mirrors. You knew that. You was just testing to see if everyone was paying attention.. lol
Thank you for another great video.
I just had a big bowl of Pinto Beans and smoked sausages, and I swear I can smell that stuff you are walking in sorting and loading those steers.
I have a few wet spots. I drilled "wet" holes with the auger, got about 6' & hit sand. The wet spots were gone the next day. I filled the holes with more sand ..they dry quickly. Sonne Farms!!
Loved Keith Whitley's singing, especially "Don't Close Your Eyes". Sorry I wished too much rain on you guys, just say "enough is enough".
Enjoyed your video have a great day.
great video cole
Glad the pasture is doing well. Hopefully the rain stays away for a while. Here in Michigan we are doing fairly well. A couple guys with prevent plant and replant, but not many. A lot better than last year so far.
Great video bud 👍👍
So happy the cows are getting out on grass so you don't have to feed them. You get that week, week and half window, Cole help your dad and run the planter late! As for your experience with the middle aged man, you are much better than me, I would've gotten in trouble.
Another great vid boys
I had a mouse in my furnace squirrel fan. He put out a big stink! I now have a new furnace and no more mice problems!
Hope the sale went your way….I just dug two swales in my small pasture, so I’m sure it will not rain again until September.
I figured today’s song of the day would have been “ Moneytalks” by AC/DC with all those steers heading to the sale barn… but I do like me some Keith Whitley as well
Their some hefty looking steers. Let us know what they go for each approximately please. ❤ 🐂 🐕 🚜

Usually they sell in lot’s/groups, so they weigh say a group of 10 or so and get an average weight per Steer. So then each steer would be the same price in that lot of 10, which will probably vary depending on what the buyer’s pay.
Great video as always. That is going to be one heck of a power wash job on that tillage tractor.
Nothing Better Then wild Asparagus.
awsome video cole thumbs up and shared
Always a great video.
"Fence-row spear-grass" is the best! 😉😂

The only asparagus I have ever eaten was from our fence rows when I was a kid. I'm 84 now and haven't eaten asparagus since. I was probably ten when I picked it.
enjoyed your Dad's pose! that was awesome!
Hope the sale was worth the energy to feed the steers love seeing cows going out to pasture. Watching you in the field with the tractor tilling makes me think there will be a bit of pressure washing in the future. Fresh asparagus cool
An old Toro snowblower would do quick work on that water. Use the old style with the big barrel auger. I've used those to throw ditch water over the road to the other side. No pump or hose is required!
Your wash boy will have fun with that tractor and plow. Ha ha
Some of those buds look pretty darn cute!😅
Cole u should get skid steer plate and make a type of squeegee attachment for times ur bunk is holding water

The Claves r all Growed Up n off to college🎓🐮we r soo proud😢😢
Ain't nothing wrong with some fence asparagus, that's always where we had ours growing when I was just a lad coming up in the world. Maw an Paw would tell us kids to go pick the veggies out the garden an my two brothers and sister would take off picking maters, okra, brussels sprouts, peppers, snap peas, and everything else off the rows and I'd be walking around the fence picking asparagus. We had so much of that stuff growing it was unreal, but we all loved eating it when Maw or Paw cooked it.
Looking good👍
Those were some good looking steaks loading up on the trailer.
Enjoyed.
Good looking steers. The biggest take away for me of the video was the unintentional demonstration of the Bud box design's efficiency, lol.
Nice video
Great song of the day! Love Keith Whitley! Hope cattle prices were primo @ the sale.
Good one dude
Great song of the day!!!!
All good!
