In 2011 or so I was a thrift store fiend, looking for discarded cameras. Apparently, I bought this camera for $1 at Deseret Industries and forgot all about it. I was digging through the garage yesterday and found it again, wondering, "Why don't I have this film camera with all my others?" Upon inspection, the film advance lever was jammed. That's why! The camera was "broken." I go back to digital photography, 10 years pass, and back into film photography again. I dig the camera out, unscrew the bottom plate, mess with the gears a bit, and now it works again! Cant wait to take some shots with this stealth Ricoh I forgot I had! Thanks for the video!

Hi! my camera has the same problem, could you guide me on which screws were loosened and which gears you had to move to fix. I'm new to this and wouldn't want to throw the camera away. Thanks!

Thanks man, rewinding was confusing. Trying to use the PG-4 rewinding grip and it wasn't working, so I followed your vid. You're awesome!
